Terry Bradshaw is a very intelligent guy !! He has fun with others an can laugh at himself ! He is bar none one of the best QBs the league has ever had !
I’m from Cleveland, grew up when the browns and Steelers were a real rivalry.. I’ve always remembered how terry bradshaw used to sling bullets , 20 30 40 yard darts , he was really great, and so easy to like, humble, genuine, and great person, in spite of being a steeler ....he’s from the south, he makes all the right moves, is intelligent, but doesn’t have to flaunt everything he’s done
Howie Long is a former NFL defensive end who played for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders from 1981-1993 I remember his first year in the NFL in the 1980's when he was in his 20's when he played for the Raiders and he continued his career with his team he drafted by until 1993 and he is now 60 years old this past January 2020
TB - my favorite QB of all time (I'm in my early 50's) - His story about early days in Pittsburgh, feeling the wrath of fans, trying to please Chuck Noll, his battles with illnesses...He genuinely seems like a guy you'd like to live next door to even if he wasn't in football..
@@myronbedner5163 totally agree with you. I find Jimmy's takes interesting also. All 3 just have so many stories & all are champion's & the best at what they do.
Terry, you were the ultimate field general in your day. Maybe you struggled early on, but you caught on and were the envy of all other quarterbacks. Quarterbacks who are "dumb" do not call their own plays. And dumb quarterbacks who call their own plays do not win 4 Super Bowls. End of story.
Terry, am a Browns fan and watched you torch my Browns on many occasion. Hated? Yes! Stupid? No! You are one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. A member of the Hall of Fame and an excellant pre-game show host. The only stupid ones are those who would paint you as stupid!
As a Browns fan, I don't think Bradshaw ever had an image as a dumb qb.... that always seemed to me to be a misperception that dumb people had. He had an image as a winner - and I hated that.
Never thought of Terry as _dumb_ until his post career, when I heard things that he would say about it. I thought of him as a Steeler. He took over football in the mid-70s. Terry, Lynn Swann, Joe Greene, Stallworth, Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier, Donnie Shell, Greenwood, Mel Blount, Webster, Lambert were all part of a greater team. The Steelers had a 5-year run where they won 4 Super Bowls. His post playing career was denoted by his football commentary on Fox. Terry Bradshaw had an _emotional IQ_ , an EQ, which is off the charts. He made watching football fun. He was always the one guy on Fox Sports you could count on to make it all fun.
@@TheDCGuitar13 Joe Montana had only 4 players on all four of his Superbowl teams - Eric Wright, Ronnie Lott, Keena Turner and Joe Montana. The first three were all on defense so it was far from a dynasty.
I never thought Terry was dumb. I just didn't like him in the 70's-80's when he played my COWBOYS. He's such a cool dude, how can anyone not like him? =/
Mr. Bradshaw. I'm 65 years old. Not ever did I think you were dumb. Please don't say myself and lots of others thought that. We deserve as much recognition as the haters. And lots more of us.
3 mature people that that get it. You all deserve respect for the people you are more than your achievements in sports and money. Kudos..Great segment!
Terry you were a winner and smart enough to be happy healthy and rich...you know what some people are haters and not happy seeing others doing great and have to find something about everyone
Surprised that Terry Bradshaw still is around & is as articulate as he is. I remember seeing him get laid out many times. I'd take Bradshaw over MarciaMarciaMarcia Brady any Sunday. Dude was a warrior.
Second Dallas vs Pittsburg Super Bowl, two Dallas linebackers steal the ball from Bradshaw and score and I’m thinking Dallas has got this one, but I think the next time he got the ball, he throws a long touchdown pass and brings the Steelers right back.I think he had some problems, but he never let them defeat him. A true champion.
Whoever thinks Terry Bradshaw is " dumb " is out of their minds …. yeah, real dumb … 4 SUPER BOWL RINGS … MVP X2 … PLEASE … The guy was the first QB to call his own plays … real dumb.
Well Terry, maybe you shouldn't refer to Arron Rogers as "Dumb" for not getting a fake shot in his body! Who's DUMB now that we all know it was BS??!!!
Terry Bradshaw you ain't Dumb. you where a rookie in your early year we all make mistakes plays.,but honestly hang with it okay play with it in your own decision in a smart way to 4 superbowls . basically your not Dumb to success! where you at!
NEVER have I thought of Bradshaw as dumb…..on or off the field. When he played he a great leader, in control of the offense….he was so “dumb” he won 4 Super Bowls in 5 years.
4× Super Bowl Champion, nuff said. I think a lot of those referring to him as dumb were just really jealous of his success on the field. If "the dumb one" can win 4 Super Bowls, what does that say about the ones who can't make the playoffs?? (Playoffs? Playoffs??? Did you say PLAYOFFS???)
Always Loved T.B. & Steelers! T.B. won '4' Super Bowls in '6' yrs. > VERY Different Game & Players Character back then, not comparable to Today's 'Selfie' Protect Self - Push & Shove & Slide & Run out of bounds > AVOID Serious Contact - NO Helmet & Pads as a Weapon (noting like the 60's 70's & 80's!) TOTALLY DIFFERENT RULES & REFS!!!
It is sad, but if your from mine and Bradshaw's neck of the woods, and have a southern way of talkin, they think we're dumb. And I spelled talking as talkin, I'm a country boy and I like to be comfortable, even when people may look down on me. I can't speak for Terry, I think he likes to be liked, but in reality, it's not always going to happen.
Terry Bradshaw is a very intelligent man. The clearest proof is his room lighting sense of humor when the man actually suffers from depression. Do you need any smarter than that? Oh yes, 4 Super Bowl rings, I guess you need some respectable IQ to achieve such feat
Terry Bradshaw is far from dumb. He produced on the field with a head coach whom he did not like. A dumb or unwise person, on average, would not succeed in that situation.
