they are. let all supermarkets close and then see how you all fair. At the end of the day it's private property and they can treat you how they like to within the law and company policy isnt the law.
People like you are the problem. Yes please, shut them all down and shop local like I do where the business owner appreciates me spending my hard earned money there. I bet you queue up at the self service till and pay for your goods using your watch 🤪@@TheSocialDistant
I think its you who needs to wise up. What do you think will happen when the only choice you have is to shop at supermarkets and have to buy their awful adulterated products. I bet you go through the self service while they film you and pay on your watch lol @@charliekane135
How we all fair? I don't shop at supermarkets, i support local shops and fair just fine thanks. People who value my custom. Now get back to your self service queues you dimwit.@@TheSocialDistant
Because he likes the power trip ruining people's day gives him. He's done it numerous times before with no comeback, hence is shock and surprise at finally being called out.
It looks to me that the manager has got it badly wrong. It is obvious his colleague doesn't want to be there and is clearly embarrassed by his manager's behaviour, which is bizarre to say the least. Tesco's senior management must put a stop to this sort of behaviour before someone gets hurt or customers vote with their feet and take their custom elsewhere.
I already have voted with my feet Tesco new policy in my opinion is to change the layout of their shelves they removed in my local store all beef burgers, meat balls etc. then when they did the new layout all of the cheaper burgers etc. we’re not allocated to the new layout so if you wanted burgers you were forced to pay £4.00 instead of £2.67 Tesco Profiteering again showing total contempt for ordinary people yet again and when I called them out on it the manager simply stated it was down to head office they sent the layouts to him he just does not care when I bring up something which I see as wrong ie the wrong price ,description of item, etc I mention it to a member of staff but they are just not interested, I now shop at Asda!
@@SuperMinimadness I've heard of shoppers in my neck of the wood voting with their feet and changing their custom to Asda, Sainsburys, Lidl and Aldi. Jack Cohen, the founder of Tesco, must be spinning in his grave.
Tesco has a 'Go home safe', policy. There are not allowed to confront the public if they suspect criminal behaviour. But this looks like a prat looking for trouble to justify his ego. Make sure you post this to Tesco's HQ.
company policy isnt the law and the guy proved the staff members point by disturbing the piece when questioned. The employes are aloud to suggest that his behavour is causing suspition. and they complied with the poilcy by grabbing a camera once he became hostile. The only fool I see is the brummy recording staff members for doing their job. Everyone is so quick to judge with only one side of the story. For all we know he could have been caught steeling years or months previous. I feel like the staff members handled the situation like adults unlike the baby hiding behind his phone.
@@TheSocialDistant You are correct that company policy isn't the law. The guy was not disturbing the peace, only asking the manager to justify his actions. I'm a retired policeman of the old school. The manager is being an absolute tit. The Tesco worker with him looks embarrassed by the manager's behaviour. And I don't blame him for feeling embarrassed.
@@Andy-di1zd It doesn't take long to realise the manager is being a total tit. No justification for his actions, just his waffling and feeble attempts to justify his actions.
they should see my route when I'm trying to get things on mrs list and I have no idea where what products are located. I just run around like a headless pigeon
He's the type who got off on screaming at old ladies for not wearing face nappies in his grubby little store. I'm glad the guy here confronted him - they bottle it every single time, these types.
right or wrong what they did, its private property. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE IN THERE. If you dont like security patrolling or being watched, DONT FUCKING SHOP THERE
In my local Tesco, that I used to use but not so much, recently, the security guard would constantly follow me down every isle and I got so annoyed that 1 time, I looked at him and said “ I’m not stealing anything and I don’t appreciate you, following me, every time I come in here, to shop” I followed up by saying, “I’m perfectly happy if you want to check my receipt, as I leave store but please stop following me” He still was following me a bit but less. Then 1 time when he was following me, the Manager came over and had a little chat with me, he’s always been friendly and he’s been there for 15 years, since the store opened and ever since then, the security guard has totally stopped following me . He stays at entrance and now says hello how are you and says bye. 😁 But the Manager at my local mini Tesco is so nice and friendly. I can’t believe that he treats me like a friend , even when I go months without going in the store and even says hello when I see him in street, leaving or going to work. I actually got accused of not paying at self service in my local Tesco. I didn’t have a receipt, because I didn’t want or need 1 and all she had to do was check cctv. Anyway, my mate the manager came over and after I explained what happened and recommended her to check cctv, she wouldn’t do it and was dead sure I had not payed. Needless to say the Manager gave her a talking to and all was good. I can’t complain too much, getting accused once in 15 years, isn’t too bad. But it really is so frustrating, seeing it happen to other people. Especially when the customer has proof they paid.
@@kisukeurahara9618damn right I didn't follow the arrows so many people was willing to be treated like a sheep I can't believe so many people got that poisonous jab 👍👊
What went on before this ,they didnt do this for kicks, this guy was well prepared for an altercation and was full of BS to aim at them, I know supermarket staff are treated very badly by some customers ,this guy had obviously been buggering about!.
Would see if legally you can take action. No win. No fee. A certain type of demographic would be totally ignored. Also if a gang of youths were causing chaos. He wouldn't protect his customers. Be on the phone from his office for plod.
Jobsworths like him need to realise that they don't have any real power or any idea how to engage with the public bet his family is buzzing when he leaves the house for work 😂😂👊
I've had it. Walked round the shop a few times and they grassed me up to the "marshal" who waddles about the shopping yard. I went back to the shop (M&S) to ask who'd tried to make up lies about me and they all bottled it and went beetroot red. I was in my ambulance greens at the time, with a black hiking coat over the top. They said my clothing was "suspicious." Kept going back there every day until the top manager came out stumbling his words out in an insincere apology. Cowards.
I had the same in our Tesco in Arbroath. I had a security guard follow me around with a trolly full of shopping, weekly shop. I actually stopped and asked him if he'd wanted to finish my shopping for me. It was the third time in a week I had security guards, black guys, follow me about like they were playing hide and seek with me. I actually asked them if they had a problem with me. I know some of the staff really well and often stop to speak to them. On each occasion they said nothing and moved away. Tesco seem to have real problems with both staff and security. Not had the problem again but to be fair I probably look like I'm not worth approaching now I seem so pissed off in there. They're all the same.
if that's the reason he pulled them he should say that. not BS about walking up the same aisle twice, like there are high value goods in the bread and pasta aisle FFS.
The 2 dimensional space can usually be traced with a zigzag route, finishing with the payment method chosen from the methods available and then finally exiting from the retail outlet via the usual exit door. The Tesco should understand that a random approach to the shopping path encourages shoppers to buy more products, that is the reason why supermarkets shuffle the product placements. This stops shoppers knowing where the items are located and using a quick and optimised route to purchase the products they want without having to walk past items to temp them into a purchase.
Well for starters I wouldn't be shopping there again. And I would be emailing Tesco head office with a detailed written account of the "incident " along with this video. I'm not one for seeing people lose their job but this inadequate manager needs to be demoted back to stacking shelves, or baking bread. 🤦♂️
You should’ve pointed out Tesco employ 3rd party companies to rearrange the aisles to make people wander around the shop to entice them to buy other things that are not necessarily on their shopping list
I'd say the accent alone screms criminal and the way he's being so defencive would suggest he has something to hide. No ones holding him hostage and no ones forcing him to shop there. If he doesnt like how he's being treated just leave insted of bothering old women. How pathetic
Good God Almighty! I'm constantly going back to aisles because I've missed or forgotten something. Never have a 'route' because I don't meander just looking for stuff I might want. I go, with my list and I don't want anything else. If they didn't keep changing where they put stuff, it would be easier to find it, therefore avoiding backtracking. If this happened to me, I'd enjoy telling that jerk-off he can put it all back, 'cos I'm off to get it elsewhere!
Lone Men going into supermarkets or Shops are instantly targeted and watched by staff more than any group. If you want to steal anything go in with a woman and preferably a child too.
Paranoid jobsworth worse than a security guard on a power trip, really shouldnt be in the job with that attitude totally out his depth with no customer service skills what so ever.
I'm a native speaker and can't find what that word means. I don't think it exists. Croup is a viral disease, or the backside of a mammal. Nothing comes up for Crouped. Corrupt is a word.
