Rabbi Yaron Reuven explains that true teshuva (repentance) is not just about personal change, but about helping others to do teshuva. He stresses that yirat shamayim (fear of HaShem) is the foundation of a true connection with HaShem, and that it is the only fear worth cultivating.
He argues that without yirat shamayim, bitachon (trust in HaShem) becomes superficial and potentially dangerous. Rabbi Reuven emphasizes that time is running out for teshuva, and that individual efforts may not be enough to guarantee a place in Olam Haba (the world to come).
He emphasizes the importance of Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness) and kiruv (bringing others closer to Torah), which are the only "tickets" to Olam Haba. He encourages listeners to strive to help at least ten Jewish people do teshuva this year, as it is the only way to truly do teshuva in these times.
