You are NOT alone! I’m having the same issue as Shaun, even my basic commands are now broken. I tried everything you did along with rebooting and power cycling the car but nothing worked. I hope Tesla has a fix SOON!. I have a 2019 MS (Raven) with FSD and HW3.
Pretty sure it's Google having issues doing the voice translations. Its happened every year around Christmas usually cause they're getting flooded with voice commands from new smart home devices people are getting. I've had issues with phone too.
Interesting possible explanation--I'll have to look into that. Now I feel like I should have left in my little rant about leaning on cloud services to handle the processing vs. doing it in-car...
Messages app is the SMS/MMS/RCS app on Google Fi. However, RSC messages are not read properly because all of the metadata about the message gets read too. And there's no way to tell it to stop reading.
Hey Alex, I just ran a few voice command tries and they all worked, but with this twist: 1) push the voice command button, 2) wait 2 seconds, 3) issue your command. Alternatively, the green "voice" circle that pops up blinks twice after first launched. Wait until that stops blinking before voicing your command. After figuring this, it worked every time. Wondering if this works for you as well.
i'm having the same issues, with even basic commands. I would be fine with it not supporting my command, but it's not even registering that i'm speaking. I've tried different speaking volumes and speeds and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I didn't do a thorough check between this list and the one being maintained by the Tesla Community, but I'll bet we're pretty close... docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v4m7aHk__KdfkoedDsiChxilbTvSg9AkV3J1quU0iRo This one has over 90 at present, Add ones you find here: forms.gle/AiwrdiyQygLZKAHp8
