Looked at the Tesla but really wasnt impressed with the build quality, so went with the Enyaq 80x. No regrets. Fascinating video!

Not a Tesla killer, but an interesting alternative to the Model Y. Nice car, I’ve driven one and a lot cheaper to lease than the Tesla.

If build quality was the most important factor a lot of brands would qualify. But if you look at what’s important battery life BMS , OTA updates , charging infrastructure SuC and so on there is only one brand especially is you also look at the price tag.

At least Tesla produces cars. Skoda sells the Enyaq with a prommissed delivery time of a couple of weeks, however they get delivered 12 months later. Difficult to understand in 2021/2022/part of 2023, but in 2024? No updates on the production issues, customers like me are left in the blind. It is a crying shame.

A question. Can you choose when to install software update? As I understand you can't drive the car when there is an software update in progress. So imagine this, you drive around town, you are in crossroad, there is a red light. And while you wait for the green light an ota pops up and start installing, but before it is finished, the green light is on and you need to get going, but you can't because there ota update is being installed. Of course this is imagined as far I'm aware, but still. So can you choose when to install the software update?

I have heard that phrase, "Tesla killer", many times over the years and it still hasnt come even close to being true. Tesla is till a decade ahead and will probably always remain so

Please work on the Software! Volkswagen and Skoda is fare behind Tesla on that. I don´t trust in your continouse software improvement. My 2023 Enyaq has Software 3.5 and will not see the Version 4. I´m really suffering with the missing batterie preheating. It´s a mess in winter. Also the App is just a simple monitorig system which is running unstable. What´s about delivery time? I had to wait more than 1,5 years without a cleare comminication from Skoda and the car dealer. Yes I guess skoda will reach the same image on costumer relation compared to tesla. There are some points Skoda already overtook tesla. I like the quality of the inside. I like the headup display. I like the sign reading and the direct action on speed control. I like the Headlight. I would buy the Enyaq again because of the good overall package. I would not buy the Enxyaq again because of the terrible communication of Skoda and Skoda dealer with the customer. Also I would not by a Enyaq because of the uncleare development strategy of the Software.
