I would not recommend the 2023 M3 since the ultrasonic sensors are gone and the camera software to aid in close quarter parking is not available (yet, or, if ever). A shocking omission. I made the mistake of buying a M3 and after two months, I just gave up. In the real world, parking is something you do all the time. The FSD which finally arrived was little better than the AutoPilot and both spoiled the driving experience for me. I liked the charging network and the OTA updates were great, but in the end, I really felt that I had not been given a proper car for my $84K CDN.

I guess the big question here is FSD or cars that still have ultrasonic sensors, along with how much you want to spend. Unfortunately I got my M3LR in December with the lower offer.

Any tips for used shoppers on how to check service/repair history? Does the in-dash system have a browsable view of service records that might be more complete/accurate than a Carfax report? Either in "Service Mode" or regular menus. Just thinking about what other things drivers should be looking for when they are kicking the tires in person.

Doesn’t really matter IMO, but you could view any pending alerts via the service menu

How do you tell if a used Tesla has FSD?

Can either of you comment on Model 3's with CCS compatibility? Certain years to avoid?
@brandenflasch

Can be easily DIY retrofitted unofficially or soon you’ll be able to have it retrofitted officially

Why not just use the CCS adapter ?
@brandenflasch
@brandenflasch Год назад
@@-Good4Y0u you need a new chargeport ECU for the adapter to function on older Model 3.

@@-Good4Y0u That's my point - not all older Tesla's support CCS. It's a relatively new thing.

Surely the answer is none of these Teslas. The build quality is shocking.
