It’s definitely possible since the FSD computer hardware is there, but brings some difficulties with additional wiring hardnesses. They may offer it as a paid retrofit eventually, it likely won’t be cheap

The bumper camera is now in production on the latest Model S and X beginning March 1st, it’s a matter of time that Tesla applies it to the 3 as well, it could be a quite transition without official announcement

Great overview John, I haven't heard much about the differences between the standard and long range versions elsewhere. I think most first drives and comparisons to the older version were for the long-range model. There's a 10k price difference in Canada, and even the base version is quite expensive at 54k plus fees and taxes, before 5k rebate and other Provincial rebates where available (BC and Quebec only)

Yeah this is definitely just scratching the surface there are a lot of internal differences between the base and LR, although the gap is closing and the RWD is now a great package overall for the price compared to the outgoing version

I heard an interview with Franz and Larz that the new model 3 has adaptive grille in the front. It opens and closes when appropriate. Pretty cool

That more likely a temperature sensor or something, not a camera unfortunately

Hi John. What a nice wrap up on the Highland. I live in Denmark, and have had the car (LR) since November. I'm in large forum here about everyday life with the vehicle. Not all are perfect with this car. There are for sure some areas which are very disappointing. It could be cool of you to make same video with these downsides of the car. That would give a much more balanced view on this car. I think it is very important to give viewers these information before buying this car. I love your channel. Please write if you want a look inside the downside of this car.

Nope, always had the hardware, but recently enabled with software for Europe and soon the US
