Honestly watched this video because I have a dent in the exact spot on my Model 3 LR. Looked you guys up and saw you have a location in Chicago which is closer than MD for me (Columbus Ohio). Waiting for confirmation they can perform this same repair in Chicago and I’ll be booking my appointment asap. Great job!!!

Finally got to watch the whole vid, nice job. I know they are tough to work on, that ali body is very hard going ! 6 hrs says it all there, but saved the client a packet. Love my Dentcraft whale tails :) . . . and yeah, those ultra thin are awesome, triple panel bonnets, no probs :D Also the 2" are great under framework, bonnet, turret, boot etc, so much power available.

Just revisiting / found this video again, as I have a 3 coming in next week for a front guard (fender) dent. First 3 . . . to date I've just work on the X. So yeah, doing a little research and found the 3 only has aluminum bonnet (hood) and doors, the rest normal (or high strength) steel. Nice to see the job again, always good to see a competent tech on the job.

How hard would it be to glue pull or do kind of PDR work on a 39 year old car? What general PDR tools would you recommend? I’m very new to body work and I would be doing it in my garage.

Can’t get any better than this! Wow! I have a 2013 Scion FR-S Pearl White with drivers side rear fender vandalism damage (anonymously punched leaving knuckle indents) is there a way to send you a picture for you to see if this can be repaired by PDR? I want to keep the factory paint as I don’t believe repainting it will ever be a perfect match or hold up as well. Everyone says they’re the Best at repainting cars but I believe it’s best keep the original paint. I’d hate to have a mismatch. Dent removal is what I’m looking for. Please let me your opinion.

I wonder how come a simply dent on the fender cost 5k in a body shop? Here in NL even if they would cut off and weld a new(what they would not to do) one would cost much less. It cost quite a lot everything there :-|

I was shocked too. I thought a conventional repair should have cost no more then $2000.

Son had someone clip the back of his Tesla X a couple of months ago, left very little visible damage, like most plastic bumper hits do now. But, the total repair bill was over $30k !! The vehicle is ~ $170k here, so relative to the % hit on a more modest vehicle cost / repair. Tesla vehicles require highly specialised repairs, as are many newer models now, with more sophisticated sensors and calibrations, and ADAS type systems. With technology comes ever increasing problems for repairers.

Wow, first time seeing this video! To answer your question they charged that much because they would have to repair and paint that body panel and also remove and color match the bumper and rocker panel, which required the removal and reinstallation of the sensors in the rear. As you guys can see the end result was perfect and saved me from the hit to my insurance.
