You should not install that child seat in the center using the lower anchors -- use the seat belt. Tesla does not approve "borrowing" the anchor points from the outboard seating positions for the center position. "Borrowing" the lower anchors for the center sating position does not provide the correct standard dimension for lower anchor spacing.
What up Eddie!!! Ya man I don’t really cross promote my stuff so this has just been running in the background. Awesome time to get one now with the massive discounts.
We're currently wondering if our Model Y will work for our soon to be family of 3 kids. We have a 5 year old in a booster, a 16 month old still facing rear (though will probably be able to turn around before #3 arrives), and we'll have a newborn. We're thinking the booster seat could go in the middle, but maybe the forward facing kid could go in the middle, the infant on one end and the 5 year old on the other? We shall see. But, good tip on the seat belt extenders!
Pretty much no seatbelt extenders available for the middle seat, for some reason they used different buckles for the window seats than the middle seat. The buckles you have will not work for the middle clip. Super frustrating, our booster is in the middle between 2 car seats and we can't find an extender that works.
I was curious of the same thing. The website he referred to has model 3 middle seat belt extender but im not sure if it would work. Curious if anyone has tried it
Did this seat/pet protector stain your seats under the car seats. I have some pesky stains from where the rubber/grippy material transferred to the white seats. Could be due to the hot summer and the car getting baked.
Belt extenders are not approved, tested, certified or safe. Should NEVER EVER be used. Also, have you not heard of rear facing? It’s 2024 and not 1975.
