I wouldn't risk putting anything through the wheels because you may damage the spokes. The wheel chocks is the better option.

@@MrCentralDriverHey man, I live in New York City in the South Bronx. I've been watching your video for quite some time. I have a question I need answered, please help me. I bought an ebike. It's an AOSTIRMOTOR, 500W, 36V, 12.5/13 AH Battery. PLEASE! My common Sense tells me that if my bike supports 36v, I should be able to drop in a battery with 20AH, with no issues and without having to do anything to change the bike itself. So please tell me, is it possible for me just to buy a 20 amp hour battery, that's the same exact battery, the same size and drop it in without having any issue? I'm saying, the Controller is 36v 22A. It should be able to support a 20 amp hour battery correct?😮

The locks thru rack arms do not make contact with spokes and are good for brief security measures. The wheel chocks are awesome for front wheel added stability.

@bigmangmc It won't work. Your motor says that it has a 12.5/13 amp Hour capacity. If you were to put in a bigger battery with a larger amp hour capacity, not only do you run the risk of burning out the motor. But you also run the risk of causing a fire, depending on how you charge your ebike...

Beautiful rack. Too bad about shipping damage. Arm is replaceable. Just ordered one with the 2nd add-on rack, long ramp, locks, and license plate adaptor for use behind RV. E-bikes for now and a letter to Santa for more toys. Cheers!

I bought the rumble motors air SS and I think I might just get the Black Widow Motorcycle Rack . Its $300 and comes with a ramp. It may not have the lock mechanism the 1up has but at least I’m not getting myself a hernia while trying to load it up . 😂

A P/U Truck would have been a better choice for something to haul bikes around. If you had a truck you could take more than one bike. The rack is pretty nice $900 dollars is a lot for a bike rack.

I talked about it in a video but it’s just a handlebar add on. I didn’t show how to install because there is nothing to it. It’s not hard wired to anything.
