This adapter allows you to charge your non-Tesla electric car at any Tesla NACS destination charger, high powered Tesla NACS wall charger or using the portable Tesla NACS charging connector. It does not work on the Supercharger network.
However, you will be able to charge your "legacy" CCS electric vehicle well into the future, once the Tesla NACS standard takes over and becomes even more commonplace than it already is today.

How do you feel about using adapters such as the DEDC Tesla to J1772 to charge your electric car? Would you use one? My point has always been this: EV owners should have as many charging options as possible and these adapters provide us with such options. Let me know what you think!

I travel during the summer and I knew the Tesla destination chargers would help me keep charged at the hotels I stayed.

Exactly. When I am on road trips I always try booking a hotel work a charger. Many times it turns out to be a Tesla Destination charger. So with this adapter I am able to charge overnight which is always the ideal option.

Hi. I am thinking of buying Kia ev. Let's say EV9 for a long road trip. It comes with CCS now. Should I wait until KIA vehicle which comes with NACS plug?

What about using this adapter on a Tesla owned charger? Will they allow you to charge your non Tesla vehicle? I just found your vids and have subscribed.

Yes this adapter will work. You can use it on any Tesla charger except the Supercharger, even if it’s owned by Tesla. It’s a great piece of equipment to have in your trunk. Thanks for the subscription and appreciate you watching my videos!
