No, it is not even close to the complexity level of fully autonomous. Teleoperation isn't challenging to achieve. The reason you feel it to be impressive is simply because you are not a researcher in this field

I think it would be unwise for anyone to put development androids amongst the general public without many safeguards. It's just too early; a controlled lab situation with many controls is quite different.
