Thank you! Needed that laugh. A little humor helps us get through the the hard parts of life like tornadoes and hurricanes. Got some big smiles doing the car fart while standing next to my car in a busy parking lot. So much fun.
Yes, humor is absolutely necessary for survival in my opinion. Haha! Omg that’s great! I love the fart pranks so much! I mean I don’t actually fart because I’m perfect, but I will make my car do it all day! Jk 😂 💨 I’m not perfect. Far from it. Have a great weekend!
Great to see you’re back Sara and everyone is safe and well ❤. I’ve downloaded short clip mp3s on my boombox and when I can safely do so, instead of using my horn when someone is blocking me or in the way, I play a song by ludacris on my external speaker which goes “Move, b*%tch, get out the way Get out the way, b”£tch, get out the way”…… calms everything down and brings laughs to people all around! 🤣
I have seen people do that one and I love it so much!! Haha! I personally wouldn’t do that, BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t love it and think it’s HILARIOUS! Thank you so much, happy to be back!
It’s funny. People don’t really talk about those little funny things that make us happy or crack up. I’ve done similar things with the fart out speaker talking to friends. The expressions they have are the best part. One other thing I love is the watch for Tesla app on my Apple Watch. It’s set up as a key so if I walk out to the car without my phone, I am able to just open the car or drive it with just my watch. So many amazing things.
Welcome back, Sarah. No need to apologize for taking the time you need to deal with life and for the record, I never expect a personal reply when I leave a comment. Including this one. So, don't put any undue pressure on yourself. Funny story about the heater. I have often thought of messing with the music in the car remotely while my wife is driving, but just haven't been able to bring myself to do it. LOL.
Awwww thank you, Jeff! But I do always look forward to your comments and I do appreciate you always supporting me and chiming in!! Hopefully no one changes their profile pics though because then I won’t know who they are. 😂 But seriously, thank you 🙏 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Welcome back Sara; glad you and your family are doing better and safe from those terrible twisters. Yes, Tesla owners have more fun with their vehicles. This is a reminder to sync your husband's Y on your phone for payback; haha j/k. I, too, love my car! I love sentry mode and what it records; still remember when I was in Tahoe, 3 teen-age kids walked by my car. It flashed, so they knew it was recording; they came back and 3 full moons popped up that evening. I definitely got a kick out if it; so much fun! 😆
Haha! That’s awesome and thank you! So happy to see you on here! I think about you every time I’m recording in 4K somewhere and forget to bring a battery pack for my phone! 😂 you’re still my hero!
I would like to say, just don't stress out so much. But I am an IT guy working at a Financial institution in California and I understand a comment like that doesn't help anyone. Life in general is stressful and we all have to figure out ways to handle it. With that said, your eyes and your red hair really pop on your videos. In a good way. Perhaps knowing that you look good in your videos can help a little with your stress. I hope you have a wonderful day, and till the next video! Cheers!
My wife and I lived in OK for 2 tornado seasons, by the second one she told me we are moving or she was divorcing me. We moved. Enjoyed the video and welcome back.
Wow, I believe it. Tornadoes are absolutely terrifying. We had less than 10 min of warning. The kids were playing sports outside at the school and it was sunny. Then in less than 5 min it was black as night and the tornado went right across the field they were playing on. They got all the kids inside right before it hit. Like less than 5 min. I’ll never forget it. I don’t blame your wife. I hope y’all are both happier wherever you are now. ❤️
@@SaraJAwesome my wife was claustrophobic so she wasn’t going underground. Tornados passed very close to where we lived, a trailer while going to school, we were fortunate. We live in the hurricane region, but we have days to see it coming and leave, not tornados as they are quick and mostly at night when you can’t see them.
Great to see you on Twitter this week. Awesome to see a new video. Very funny and good to get a good laugh. Sorry the last couple of months were hell. But I’m jealous you got to go to CES. Have a great week.
Welcome Back SJA! We were driving back from a delicious meal and I just hit everyone with the fart app... we were laughing so much! Cos you can tell where the car is, I like to open our gate and garage when I see my wife approach home.
Way to make lemonade from lemons (the crack)! As soon as they added that fart button to the app a few months ago, I spammed it as my daughter was getting home and getting out of her car in the garage. I guess my kids are too used to me being weird. All she said was "By the way... your car is farting". 😂
Hahaha! That’s freaking awesome!!!!!! Yeah, my kids are like, “mom, why are you so weird?” I’m like, “oh sorry, should I stop?” They’re like, “Never! We love you!” 😂 ❤️
Hey Sara. Thanks for the funny stories especially the fart one:) My wife pulled a good one on me a few weeks ago. I was driving home in my Tesla and rocking out to some music and all of a sudden the music pauses. I was like , ok that is strange , did I hit the pause by accident? and hit play again. Well the song keeps pausing over and over after I hit play. I think Spotify is screwed up so I reboot the car while driving. After the reboot the music comes back but keeps pausing. I’m kinda at a loss on why .. then I get a text from my wife saying “music troubles?” I laugh and realize she was messing with me the whole time and pausing the music from her Tesla app which had access to my car. It was innocent but fun. I may of had google turn all the lights off in the house shortly after she did that … lol. Thanks again for the laugh from your stories.
Bahahahahahahaha! That is freaking AWESOME!!!!!! I mean personally I think little pranks like this are good for marriage. Just not ones that are too extreme or mess up people’s hair or makeup or break their stuff. 😂 I need to find a way to get back at my husband..
9:00 - Same. I can relate. Did a very similar thing in a crowded parking lot with my new M Y and not only did I get a massive ROFL moment(s), but lots of other people were cracking up as well. In fact laughing so hard at one point that I had tears for me in my eyes and I got the rest of the people in my car laughing just about as hard as well. It was a great 5 minutes - thank you Elon musk and company. 🤣🤣
That’s awesome!!! I love making people laugh, because God knows it always makes me feel better, so it must make everyone else feel better too, right?! I love my Tesla so much. Can’t do this with any other car!
These are the stories that I love!! Thanks for sharing! Love my Model 3! Try using the fart button on one lucky passenger out of nowhere. Silly I know but so much fun!
Dear Mrs Awesome, good to hear you survived all of that and Mr Awesome is very lucky that you did not wreck his car ;) Thank you for all the videos, as a new fellow Model 3 owner, I appreciate them very much!
Are some just passed his driver’s test too and can drive on his own 😬. Glad you all made it through all the ups and downs - yowza! Great to have you back ☺️
Oh my gosh!!!!!! Well, then I guess congratulations to your son! Is that your first child that’s driving age? I’m not sure if I’m gonna survive this stress times 5 more! 😂
So we're not the only ones who mess with each other with the heating/air conditioning. Guilty as charged! I also like, when my wife runs into the grocery store, to sit outside the entrance and sit in the car and strategically lay down Tesla farts and watch reactions. It's like living inside one of those hidden camera prank shows. Childish? Perhaps! Just another reason we love our Teslas!
First, can your life be any more stressful??? Tornados? Power outages? COVID? Dang... Another cracked windshield? Get out of here!!! Your fart story was hilarious. When you started I was thinking that's risky while they're handling the glass, but then you said you thought of that and waited. I'm sitting next to my garage while I'm listening to you and forgot what the fart sounds like and did it so I could hear it. It made me laugh thinking that's what they heard. Best customer, EVER! I'm not sure I would have had the presence of mind to remember you can remote start the car. I probably would have called and had them come back. So, brilliant on you! Most fun I think I've had was using auto summon in the parking lot with my daughter. We both laughed so hard watching it figure out how to get to us and watching other cars figure out what was going on. Teslas for the win! I was glad to see you had uploaded this morning. And like I said, this is my favorite format for your channel. I really enjoy sitting and listening to your reviews, comments, stories while you sit in the car. I hope life calms down a bit for you, at least for a while. Be well.
Haha! Yeah, I feel like my life is always like this. I can definitely say my life has NEVER been boring. Not even for one day. That and we’re all pretty tough, because whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right? Yeah, I had so much fun pulling that prank on them at safelite. I’ll definitely be doing it again when I get the chance. That is awesome you and your daughter are having fun with it too. My middle child has been telling me all week he wants a Tesla like mine so bad. This car actually makes us bond too, you know? It just being people together because it’s so fun. I adore it. Thank you so much for always watching and commenting! I’ve come to depend on your comments on every video! 😂 Have a wonderful Sunday!!!!! ❤️🙏
Me too, and everyone else too. It was a miracle there were no lives lost because so many structures completely collapsed with people inside. Thank you 🙏 Glad you enjoyed the story!
13:11 - this is a super useful feature. Your husband can send you a link to be added as a driver on his vehicle. He can do it to anybody who has a smartphone. Just like you said it only takes a few seconds and you're good to go. Also, as a good security measure, the owner of the vehicle can revoke access to the vehicle to anybody they have shared it with whenever they want to. Super handy feature. They're probably are a couple of dozen features that seem pretty insignificant yet convenient taken individually but the collection of features together makes a compelling product. There's just nothing else like it. I'm never buying another brand of car.
Tornadoes are higher winds and much less predictable than Hurricanes. With a Hurricane you know about it way more in advance. So you have a chance to prep for it. Tornadoes are less predictable and can spawn quicker and usually move much faster.
PS glad everything was good with you and your family. I do love the Tesla apps, and have used it to mess with my Nephew one time using the ability to play sounds through the external speaker. That was right gut after Tesla released update where you could talk through your Tesla using Sentry Mode.
Yeah, this one popped up out of nowhere. We had less than 10 min to prepare and shelter. It went from bright and sunny to black as night in that 10 min. And then a few minutes later everything around was destroyed. Hurricanes look scary on the radar, but yeah days to prepare and usually just a lot of deadly flooding.
Sara, you are such a good person. Something is definitely wrong with me because my dream fart target would be the most uptight person at the shop. What a great story. Yeah, I’d be like your husband. I’m surprised he didn’t honk the horn. So if your Tesla is ever stolen, turning on the defrost in 100 degree heat may get them to pull over and walk away. Also, put it in valet mode to limit their speed as you let the cops know exactly where they are (I read that someone actually got his car back like this).
Have you seen how many different fart sounds this thing has too? It’s ridiculous! I love it so much. Always one of my favorite features to show people when they look at my car. It always makes everyone smile, no matter how old they are or how stuck you may think they are… this brings everyone down to earth real quick. 😂
Hi Sara. Great stories, sorry about the windshield, and tornado. yikes. BTW, I use the Tessie app on the Apple watch, which can start the car, if you don’t have your phone. I didn’t activate it, so it’s free, so far. It’s great when I’m outside in the garage but don’t happen to have my phone with me. Isn’t perfect, but works pretty well. Best of luck in the New Year.
Hey! Thanks, well whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right? 😂 good tip on the app, thanks! Hope you’re doing well!!! Thank you for always watching and supporting me! ❤️
You have quite the life, Sara! Ah, stories! I love the way you tell them! I’ve managed to dodge C19 for the past 2 years, but had it twice, too. I keep thinking, wouldn’t it be great to go to Vegas and see the CES, & new EVs, and then I think, nah, I’ll pass. So, you really helped me out with your videos! In fact, I have yet to take a Road Trip in the Model Y, and I’m really looking forward to that. I haven’t even Supercharged yet! I have gotten a couple of phantom braking scares, but nothing major has happened. I’ll hear a rock hit my windshield and freak out, thinking I’m going to get my first chip or cracked windshield, but so far no damage. Or road ragers, either. But, I have had one flat tire, and it was a utility blade! I still don’t know if it was a Tesla hater, or just random chance bad luck driving past some of the construction trucks in the area. And, then there is the slow leak in the other rear tire! It loses about 3 lbs a week. So maybe someone did stick a blade in that one too? I don’t know, I’ll probably have it checked when I rotate the tires soon. Otherwise, it’s been just great driving past gas stations, and smiling everytime I see $5, $6 per gallon! I know gas isn’t that expensive Houston, but in Socal, it’s crazy high sometimes. Only good thoughts, keep the bad luck away!
I was driving home one day and the songs on Spotify kept changing to one’s I would never listen to. I was getting really mad. Finally turned it off and used another app. When I got home I found out my wife and daughter were controlling it from their phones to mess with me.
I did the fart prank too on some people walked in front of my car in my apartment parking lot haha. I caught their reaction on sentry mode and you can see their reaction in my most recent vid i uploaded haha. It turns out the people were the apartment managers but it was still funny they looks all around my car confused
Holy Guacamole, Sara! You've been dodging all kinds of bullets, from Covid to tornados to cracked windshields! As the climate crisis worsens with more tornados, hurricanes, floods, I grow increasingly concerned for those of you living in those areas of the country. You are SUCH a prankster with those fart sounds! I'm glad you gave those workers a bit of fun. Sounds like your hubby got you back with the heater, but I only wish he'd also pushed the "fart" sounds to freak you out! Finally… sorry… I seriously doubt you are a shy introvert: you are far too personal and stream-of-consciousness articulate for me to believe that. As for my Model 3… I'm not so keen on it anymore, since Tesla refuses to cover faulty battery electronics under its battery warranty. Phooey on them!
Haha! Yeah, been a little crazy lately. I agree the weather is definitely getting worse every year. Yeah, he definitely did get me! Thank you so much for always supporting me and I hope you have a great weekend! ❤️ On a side note… that’s freaking horrible! I’m sorry to hear that, yeah that’s no bueno.
Great sense of humor. So this morning a stone hit my windshield. It sounds like you have had a couple of good experiences with Safelite. Anything i should know before i give them a call?
You should call them and say hey do you have any employees that have replaced tesla windshields before? See what they say. For me they said yes. But that doesn’t even mean it will be that person doing your windshield anyways. But you can try to request them. But after learning more and seeing that they isn’t any trim to be removed around the glass, it’s probably one of the easiest windshields to replace. But I’m just assuming that. It should be fine. And for me, I haven’t had any issues with the model y, but the model 3 is a rock magnet. Maybe because the model y is little higher but idk. I think it’ll be fine. I have been safelite 3 times now for my model 3. No issues at all. I just hit the recalibrate button myself for the cameras after getting it replaced. I had a Tesla employee tell me that’s all it is. But I had one single subscriber tell me that it’s more complicated than that. So now I don’t know if the tesla employee was wrong or not tell me to recalibrate the cameras that way. However, I’ve had zero problems with cameras or autopilot before and after hitting that recalibrate button. So idk 🤷♀️ you could just call tesla and have them recalibrate the cameras after, but I would ask them before they do it about if you can recalibrate them yourself or not.
Thank you!!! Been trying to slowly start getting back to some self love. If I can just get back to the gym more. 😂 Hope you’re doing well, I always look forward to seeing you in the comments! ❤️
@@SaraJAwesome Thanks Sara..My LR is 2 years old now & only has 12,000ks on the clock. I got the big C, 2 ops down & more to come (Sucks). But Love & Light to your family... Only look forward, & Up. Your fart story was a high lite for me that day. Look forward to every post you do. More Please...PS we have no external speakers in Australia.
Did your oldest child learn or take the driving test on an ICE vehicle? Was just curious as to that because if he ever has to drive an ICE vehicle the differences would take a while to get used to. That said, with the safety of the Tesla, I am guessing you would prefer he drive only that or something similar.
I’m the one that taught him to drive, and I taught him on ICE and EV. I’m teaching all my kids that way, and stick too when we have the chance. He took the test in his own ICE car which my old 2012 Mazda 2. I’ve taught my other son on Ice and Ev too, and he is like omg! It’s so hard to go back and forth between gas and electric! 😂 But he just has his permit.
It’s going around like crazy, but definitely is a lot less dangerous than it was in the beginning. I didn’t have any symptoms this time but my husband was pretty miserable. The first time I got it I was really really sick, but that was 2020. I’m glad you’re okay. That’s great!
@SaraJAwesome The 1st time I got it (in the beginning before the jab) it was kinda mild, but it lasted forever, and I ended up getting long covid (Horrible lasted a couple years)
No need to be sorry for living your life. It's great when you interact, but you have lots of people in your immediate area to divide your attention among. No need to fret about a bunch of strangers from all over the world most of whom you will never meet.
Thank you. That 💯 true. But I do enjoy it. This is the only thing I have for just me, my only hobby. I don’t have any friends anymore, I recently chosen to focus on just my family. So this is the only friendly social interaction I get. 😂 Have a great Sunday and thank you for your support! ❤️
