Very well done video. I wanted to share some of what I learned when I got my Model 3, I got stuck at 0 battery because I did not have the home charger yet and I was still waiting to get my VIN transfer so I could super charge. I got in a predicament because I was new to Tesla and I live at higher elevation and miss judged the extra draw from my HV battery on hills. That's where I learned the Tesla has a 12 volt car battery separate from the HV battery. Your computer runs off that 12v battery and does not die when the high voltage battery does. I simply put it in tow mode on the computer so all four wheels did role free. Also, there is a steele threaded eye hook in the frunk that you put on the front of the car where the plastic circle cover pops out. If your 12 volt dies, there is a red and black wire behold the circle cover so that the tow driver can connect to and and charge it to allow you to use the computer to put the car in tow mode. Many Telsa owners are educated and wealthy who lack basic common sense. Beyond comprehension! Who would purchase any vehicle with a MAJOR flat tire problem. I drive a proven brand because i am spoiled and would probably get robbed too as a stranded motorist.

Thanks for this. For me, the takeaway is how to reset the tesla mobile charger by unplugging it and plugging back in to a live receptacle. The manual is not very good, but at least says: "In some cases, you may need to reset the device by unplugging the Mobile Connector from the vehicle or from the power outlet." The other takeaway is to watch out for overheating; but thankfully, I charged in a garage.

I wanted to share my tire experience with you. A few weeks ago we took in our 2022 Model 3 Long Range. We have had an ongoing issue with car rattles. When the tech person was checking out my tires, he mentioned that the front tires should be replaced as inner portions of each front tire was worn down to the wear marker. We were amazed as we have only 17000 miles on car! I asked if car needed an alignment. He didn’t really answer but said that Teslas were hard on front tires. I went ahead and had them replace the two front tires. The next day I took car to Firestone and purchased lifetime alignment for car. They did alignment on all 4 tires. They got all tires aligned except for camber. Turns out Tesla doesn’t make it possible for third parties to do camber adjustment. I am amazed you have gotten 40,000 miles out of your tires! I only got 17,000 miles out of my front tires! Have to admit that I did not do any alignments or rotations for those 17000 miles. From now on I will be getting an alignment every six months. Look forward to seeing content from you in the future!

My filters were surprisingly not as dirty as I thought since I'm doing this for the first time after 60K miles... 9:39 your filters actually look worse than my 22 model Y! Mine were white not yellow either I used the Klima cleaner you mentioned and the straw busted out of the can and shot foam in my eye. I thought it would burn but I was fine. Then it busted off a 2nd time (this time I was wearing sun glasses) and shot foam all over the floor xD an eventful cabin filter swap to say the least!

#1 water most definitely will get in through the metal grate. There have been some design changes to the air intake pieces to help prevent it. However, it’s still going to happen sometimes. It is laid out poorly being so direct. Same thing with the front ram air for the radiator. That is simply air/debris funnel to a plastic grate that appears to have been designed to collect leaves, sticks, gravel, cigarette butts, really anything on the road smaller than a kitten.

Help yelp ..Even though I followed your perfect instructions... on the screen as you show in your video..I can see both my wife's.. Nat.. and my name ..Greg.. against..the relative synced key cards and also phone keys.. and you can toggle them on and off just by hitting the human icon...however when opening the car adjustments to seat etc simply do not occur... even after touching brake pedal. All it does it leaves the seats etc as they were whoever last drove the vehicle.. it's simply not working. Maybe because the car is charging and plugged in ? UK spec ..M3 2020 Dual Motor AWD software 2024.20.7

Roadside Assistance is only available if they have a provider in the area. Because I am outside of service provider, it would cost over $500 to tow and then add cost of tire.

1:35 there actually is a way to do what you're doing and set a timer for your heater to go on for a few minutes after you park you have to use the Tessie app and you have to create automation, for it takes a little bit of scripting, but I can send you how to do it

Dealers are a rip off

I created a CHECKLIST for a flat tire / towing emergency situation, and leave it in the glove box. In the stress of the moment, it is good to get "grounded" with thoughtful ideas like TEACHING the tow truck operator how to move a Tesla. But more than that.... I have my situational TRIAGE checklist.... just in case I forget the most simple and easiest option which is to call Tesla, even if its just to get them to remove a tire so that I can plug it.

Not all Tesla OEM tires are "quiet" tires. I 'd rather use the Tesla "slime" repair kit, than to be stranded without self protection for several hours on a highway. I have advised everyone in my extended family to NEVER buy an EV unless they are being threatened by knife or at gunpoint.

40000,wow. I am not an aggressive driver but I am on my third set at 19000 miles. Turns out when I was t boned ( guy ran a red light and t boned two cars)at 5 weeks old the knuckles on all 4 wheels were damaged. Not sure what knuckles even are? Anyway I now have some discount tires (Hankook tires) hopefully they will last longer than my others.

Hey, this works for all cameras except for the Adas camera where you need to have a calibration card set in front of the car and hooked up a obd2 adapter into the car. About to try and do it myself unless I can find somewhere it’s cheap. It needs an external reference for the pitch and angle. So while yes this does redo the autopilot cal it does not recalibrate lane departure aka Adas.

My problem is more new cars are having more technology and more safety features that it would be almost impossible to do driving tests unless the dmv keeps a old beater that everyone has to use

I have been going to Discount Tire for well over forty years and except for the one time they damaged the wheel covers on a Chevy , it has always been a good experience.

There is a set of wires behind the bumper plug we’re the tow hook is installed you can jump start the 12 volt battery enough to get in and start charging

I use the Tesla insurance they will tow the car 100 miles for free and I bought the discount tire warranty because the performance tires blow out all the time and everything is free now.tesla will tow your car to your house and have roadside service come the next day to your home
