Hey James, I think a rear seat delete & rollbars + bucket seats (I would recommend recaro sportster cs nismo is enough for street use) should be the next on the list for the gtr. and I think you shall consider Toyo R888R tires & definitely as you say, a brake upgrades to stop that godzilla.

That was coming from the RS3. 😳 For context, I got to watch in person and that RS3 was beating the Tesla Plaid and literally every other car but the GTR still absolutely gapped the RS3. Insane.
I loved being able to see you bring the gtr out and race. It was an amazing event. I hope to be able to meet you sometime or even see you driving around here in Utah. Keep up the grind 💪
If I could have been there I would have gone just to see that gtr in person cause man that thing is so cool. Also I love the casual blooper moments of Luke talking about his eyes being closed from start to finish and Stephan singing “are you ready to lose”😂😂😂
Hey I love you James, but I really think you should make the GTR safer. 1500 hp is nothing to mess with, and certain precautions need to be taken to make sure you don’t kill yourself. We’re talking proper tires, a role cage, things like that. Please consider doing these things.

I’ve unsubscribed from a lot of other car RU-vid pages James as they have lost their way, your page though is getting stronger, more entertaining and your energy is super positive. The addition of Luke to the channel and the chemistry between you both is a winner.

Definitely made my sons year coming and seeing the races. Hes bragged all weekend about seeing the cars and that rx7 that was so ridiculous loud haha we went walking around the lot and he rolled in redline blowing flames, literally rattled my skeleton haha

Very entertaining. 2 points. 1, Racing at 150 mph, you should have a helmet with the hans device and maybe a fire suit. 2. Bouncing off the 2 step will destroy your engine at some point.

I’ve been in a plaid, and it’s awesome. A great car. But I gotta admit, it was awesome seeing the GTR beat the Tesla. James, please get a roll cage, better brakes, and racing seats + harnesses in the GTR. We want you to be safe. (Side Note: Luke is a crazy good driver. That Anti-Lag he did against the RS3 was crazy!)
I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t in love with the gtr when he James first got it. But now it’s one of my favorite cars in the collection just because of what they’ve done with it.
James you need slicks for the track. Your AWD system WITH slicks that thing will HOOK AND SLAM THAT POWER DOWN. You also NEED A FULL ROLL CAGE AND HARNESSES. you’re dealing with serious power. Get a fat pair of slicks for the track and a wider set of the stickiest tires you can find for street you. And make sure TC is off. Might now hurt to get a parachute as well. I don’t think you really realize the amount of power you’re playing with. ***ALSO THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT*** you HAVE TO FIND WHEELS THAT CAN HANDLE THAT POWER. NOT MANY COMPANIES ARE PRODUCING WHEELS THAT CAN HANDLE ALMOST 1600 WHP. you really need to invest in brakes badly. You need to understand. This isn’t a gtr anymore. It’s literally a hypercar with the speeds and power it’s putting down. We don’t want to see you end up in a bad wreck man. Please upgrade everything you possibly can to make yourself safe. Including fire extinguishers.

Haven't watched the video yet, I'm actually curious to see a plaid against the GTR and honestly I don't know who'll win. You're way lighter and have like 50% more power, will that beat the instant insane torque and advanced traction control? I'm excited to see P.s.: please fit a chute and roll cage on the GTR, man! 1600whp are no joke! Proper tires would also make you faster and safer!
