What interesting times we are in, where a dealer sells a $55,000 car with stock photos of the wrong car. Even if it was stock photos of the right car, that still doesn't seem right.

You distinctly ordered the Antarctic Blue Super Sports Wagon with the C.B. and optional rally fun pack.

I’ve only bought one new car in my 55 years and learned from that one. I’ll never pay a car payment again. Dealerships no matter the brand make huge mistakes. Buy used, pay cash only. Zero debt.

It really is crappy that dealers are not held responsible for misrepresented information. It’s easy to say “Randy you even suspected something was wrong - you should have inquired further.” Buyers do need to do their due diligence but sellers should be held responsible for providing accurate information as well.

Well Randy my opinion on EVs is that they are an interesting development but still there is a lot to develop until they are practical world wide. I have no doubt that it is in the future but it is non here yet. The development has to be organic let it take its own route not press it to be here now. Pressing it will destroy it.

I'm 62 years old. I bought my first car in 1976 when I was 15. It was a 69 Chevelle SS396 with a 4 speed and 4.10 posi. Since then I've owned other SS Chevelles and Novas, Z/28 Camaros, tri-fives and Corvettes. I've drag raced, road raced, raced asphalt stock cars, and my last car was an injected winged sprint car.... Needless to say, I'm a gear head and I have had absolutely no interest in Teslas or any other EV or Hybrid cars, but I will say, I think that Tesla makes some nice looking cars... Well about two weeks ago I took my first ride in an uber and it was a Tesla, so I started asking the guy about the car and said, lets see what all the hype is about these things being fast so he stuck his foot it in. I don't remember what model it was but it was pretty impressive. It was also really weird because I'm used to having a lot of noise when I accelerate . Will I ever own one, I really doubt it, but after riding in one, I'm not a hater... EDIT: Ironically the uber Tesla I rode in was the same color inside and out.. I mentioned that I'm not a hater, well there is one exception to that statement, and that is the cyber truck. The cars look nice, but I couldn't do one of those...

Randy in 2021 the Plaid model has the yoke steering wheel. These are selling used for over $70k. to $83K. The 2021 Long Range or Long Range Performance models with the round steering wheel are listed on the Tesla web site from $45K to $56k. Seems like the model you were buying got mixed up in the photos. I don't think Tesla mixed up the model year? The mix up is between the Plaid model and the other two 2021 models.

To be honest I'd be glad to not have a "yoke". Although it would be cool to try out.. I don't think I'd actually want one on the day-to-day. Just seems like it'd be a pain to drive around city and downtown areas with. And the white interior.. it does look awesome when its fresh.. but I'd prefer the black too.

we call that a bait and switch Randy. That is a 100% scam. Walk away. And sue them for fraud. the action (generally illegal) of advertising goods which are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods.

You should have gone to Hertz. They are getting rid of their entire EV fleet and the prices were cheaper.

I've found several cars online, but always completed the sale in person after looking it over. Oh wait, I did buy a Celica GT-S from some used car dealer in OKC without looking it over in person! 😂😂😂. I guess the lesson is, screenshot or pdf everything when you buy something, or totally download the page to your laptop if you might need proof of the online ad. Love the content anyways! 😂

Always check what you purchased against your expectations and the contract.

Well.... I would never buy a car or truck using stock advertising photo's which sounds like what happened. Whenever I see this by a dealer I ask for the actual photo's or I'm not driving to the dealer.

Hey Randy, I work in car leasing and I deal with many Teslas and believe me this is not first time I come across a situation like this. The thing is mistakes are made the problem is how you go about solving them and in my experience wih tesla it can be painful I've fund teslas customer care lackluster to say the least.

Back in Kansas I used to literally pick the corners of cheese off of my burgers just so I could taste pure government cheese before eating my burgers. There's no Canadian equivalent for that taste, and I miss it.

You also didn’t do your research. It’s a 2021 model year. Meaning it was manufactured 2020. The “Refresh” wasn’t released until 2021 and was a 2022 model year.

Barry sanders super center did a bait n switch on me and I flew there from Minnesota! I raised hell and flew back home. I brought a check from my bank and the vin and veh they had for me was completely different.
