There are plenty of leadership roles that do not require a vision. They need to have a clear mission. That mission may or may not be visionary. A good leader is someone that can influence or motivate people. A good leader also makes sure the people under him/her have the tools they need to accomplish their tasks. This is just Randy looking for another way to pump Trump.
As an outsider without a horse in the Presidential race, I can see that you have to choose the lesser of two evils. Between Trump and Harris it is very clear which of them is the lesser evil. Harris would be truly catastrophic.
So we are supposed to believe anything you say when hero worship the lying orange one, 162 lies in one hour during his Bedminster news conference, it was more like news lies 😂
Afraid we can come up with way more things T-rump said he would do that he didn't do. Other than that, I agree with everything ELSE you're saying. It's a lot like becoming a great and renowned musician. If you think you'll have a "normal" life in the process, that is less likely. My father was driven to achieve some pretty great things compared to his level of education etc., but "it" gained control of him and he became more driven than was healthy for him. So what I am saying is, in addition to all the qualities required to do great things, one has to carefully rein in the forces that "can" destroy us.
Alexander the Great is a good example of a leader. Elon is mediocre in comparison, but is great by modern standards. I would put Elon in the range of Carnegie, Rockefeller, Bell, Howard Hugh’s, or Tony Stark… Trump is a mediocre example but again in comparison to modern political standards he is great. I am obviously not a Trump super fan but he is certainly the best option.
@@fractalelf7760interesting thought. I suspect that you’re right. But is that a factor of the modern ease of communication and logistics and technologies rather than Musk’s own capabilities? No question both are/were brilliant in their respective times.
