Test it when it is really dark (not a lot of lights like here), and also with dirty cameras.

Will try for sure. In any case, if the cameras are covered with dirt, it would not work, rain looks ok. But I will do a test for sure! Thx for the comment pls subscribe!

@@ciaotesla As an example, just cleaned my rear Volvo camera because i could barely see through it at all, because of this weather we have here in Sweden. Salt, dirt and shit. Sometimes it can be clear when leaving home and then almost totally blocked when arriving at work not even 40 km later. Also long icicles can hang down from the trunk and thus cover large parts of the camera too. But, the parking sensors i have all around the car works almost always (yes, there are rare conditions where they get blocked or have very reduced range in front, because ice and slush can cover them when driving - last time it was one cm(!) of thick almost clear ice on two of them! Had to use hot water to thaw it). Thankfully that is rare but despite being dirty they work very well, in contrast to a camera.

@@Xanthopteryx your conditions are great extreme use case for sensors and vision for sure!!! 😃 The Tesla Vision is still learning and my guess is that it will take time to be very good. As you mention, dirt is a camera killer, really cannot do anything about that beside cleaning it! Will try to do some more testing in total dark as soon as I can. thx for the comment!
