every 2 hours we would charge for about 20 minutes, even in the Patrol we had to get out every couple of hours for the kids to stretch their legs anyway
popular question. from my experience the engine only pings if you swap from running it on 98 to 91. but if you run it full time on 91 the car seems fine
Mate has a v8 Land Cruiser and yeah I’m surprised how well it goes on the freeway engine idles uses less fuel than I expected. We have a model y but yeah home charging is where your savings comes from. But if we do a road trip fast charing is almost same cost as petrol but that’s the exception for us.
@@DamianCandetti yeh but again kinda false economy.. spending how much? say $6k for a 6.6kw solar system. is a lot of$$ so u cant say charging your tesla is free. Also. Most people charge at night. so your then using grid.. or battery.. and htey are like $10k for a 10kw battery.
Hey Damo, yeah supercharging ain't cheap! certainly an efficient SUV would be cheaper than Supercharging the Model Y. Thankfully 99% of my charging is at home for nearly free. The only mathematical critique I have is if the speedometer is out, the odometer might be out by the same 10%, in which case the efficiency was toward 13L/100km. Nonetheless the price comparison remains unchanged, being 50% more costly than the model Y. Thanks for the comparo
The 10% speedo is out by design from Nissan, but the kms are 100% accurate. (and that only changes if you change tyre size). But the km he does is accurate.
