Nice lil meter there Mon Ami..... I have been seeing those Smart meters on Ali Express , I clicked on your link and it is only 9.99 for it at the moment and with the code that'll lower it 9 bux , cheaper than Ali Express ......Not a bad price , I love my old analog meters I like to see a needle swing , I was brought up on those in the late 70's and used them till 1999 when I lost my lease on my radio shop....... Oh I did have a couple DMM's though.... I am waiting on a Pointer MF47 meter to arrive in a couple days......I need to rig up a battery system for an old Triplett I have.... Count me in for the giveaway please.......

Of all the things I am impressed with in this video is me seeing the nearly exact model Luxo Magnifing Lamp with the circline flourescent lamp. Came with a raisable stand which allows you to stand up if you are so inclined to. My grandfather got his in the late 1950's and it still works. Very cool little multimeter review BTW. Love the vintage Sencore TF151. You don't run across a nearly new looking complete one very often.

For the price that meter has some nice features. I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who goes through those cheap HF Free meters... I probably have at least 5 of them somewhere out in the garage.

I enjoyed the heck out of that. It's really nice to have a couple of those "throw down" meters in my experience. Those Harbor Freight meters are complete trash; not even worth $7. Thanks for the video. Appreciated.

These look like great utility meters. I could use one of them for a POTA kit I’m putting together.

Although the battery cover screw is not captured, they did use a threaded brass nut. For $12, that is a great carry around meter. Leaving it in a hot automobile may cook the LCD though. Thanks for a great review. Sencore built really nice test equipment, that looks like a nice addition to your collection.

Looking forward to the restoration on the tester. The inly meters I use around anything higher than mains are VTVM or VOM that were used on tube gear. A helpful hint from another channel I sub, don't use the words giveaway, give away, prize, contest, etc in the title, description, thumbnail, or even mention it in the video. The scammers scan the text (even in the CC) to find videos to post to. Barbados actually uses a sign with the word "giveaway" when talking about how to enter. No more scammers...😂

I have an old Fluke 25 on my bench. It is still my favourite meter although I have much more Flukes also on the bench

Glad I read reviews. For me auto switching to continuity/tone on resistance under 50 Ohms is a fail. I really like the meter light staying on. I really like the tester you're working on. Well with a lower price, and double discount I ordered one anyway. Even with the low resistance issue it's well worth it, anyway that's what the good ones are for. Thanks again...

I think the built in flash light is pretty neat, especially for automotive work. It's pretty difficult to hold a flash light, two probes and then try to read the meter. At least with the built-in flashlight the meter display is should be in the same direction as the thing you are trying to measure.

I could use a TM-510 multimeter. with the little stuff i do it would be perfect to put on my bench. Great video as always and look forward to seeing you more. 73, ad0am
