We're really hoping Tessa Thompson gets a standalone superhero movie!
She told Lydia Batham how much she loved playing Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok - and did the most incredible impression of her Westworld (and Thor) co-star Anthony Hopkins. Safe to say she's got the British accent down!

Tessa can do an amazing English accent. I am from England and I thought she was English. Normally, I can spot a wonky word a mile off, she was perfect. Well done Tessa :)

ZedZedski To be fair, it wasn't supposed to be a British accent, it was supposed to be a weird Space accent.

It was by no means faultless to people with real English accents, like myself, but for an American it was very very good. In Avengers 4, she'll probably get the accent 99% perfect, like with Benedict Cumberbatch's vast improvement in his American accent between Doctor Strange and Infinity War (although his is still a bit shit). Her character's from Asgard, not England anyway though, so I'm not that fussed.

ZedZedski the asgardians accents was supposely to be non-rhotic, without the R a lot of times, It doesnt means that It got to be british or australian. Just non-rothic. So her accent in the movie was pretty right for her role, though down It seems a fake british, in terms of narrative, it's not.

She is so fashion conscience and a beautiful women. I’m obsessed with her as a gay man. Her role as Hale on West World has been awesome. Sadly I think she won’t be returning for season 5 as she crushed her Pearl. Either way I am now following her career.
