It took me a second to realize this is a movable flying machine with an active hoverstone and no rockets keeping it in the sky. That requires a lot of force to do. Hats off to you for this creative design.
After this I wondered if I could bypass the need for a hover stone with this altered version as the extra wheels provide weight and the answer is no, it quickly came crashing to the ground.
it just occured to me using 2 big wheel is such a good idea because at neutral stick it doesn't provide consistent lift (if I remember right you have to stick forward to get it to "fly") ? so potentially this speed makes for a really good air platform, where if you just activate it it will stay in one spot
The stone poles from Runakit Shrine are heavier than iron poles from the Hudson Construction Site (500 vs. 300), but they won't become lightning rods in a thunderstorm (though stray lightning strikes can still hit). How much do you think a stone pole would affect flight dynamics?
A difference of 200 isn't going to make much of a dent for 8 propellers, or probably the core wheels either. Good to bring up! There is the option of the Gerudo Desert Mirror Tower pole which weighs 350 - for those who haven't cleared it yet (as it's missable).
@@KingX I also enjoy heavy-duty engineering in Tears of the Kingdom, and I've dabbled with some vehicles and rare build parts, though I mostly design things like 50-meter ferris wheels, ferris wheels that float upright in water, giant centrifuge rides, human-powered giant swings, and Light Dragon crowns with heated, lightning-proof, aerocuda-proof travel cabins. I wish I could record better videos of them like you do, but I can only do screenshots and 30-second Switch gameplay clips.
@@dermotmacflann Capture cards are the way to go if you have a PC/laptop to upload the file from. You can get cheap simple ones that'll do a better job than Switch.
