I thought mine had a 351 till I went to the parts store to get a new thermostat and it didn't fit! Found out it was 352 yes for 1 or 2 years they made a 352 it also came in the 66 Ford Galaxy 500!!
Love.I grew up with the almost same exact truck.Iearn to drive in it .at 10yrs old.Almost 58# now.My Grandpa bought it brand new in1966.Drove it about 22 yrs.It had 3 on the tree.300 6cyner.Wow brings back my child hood members.Back when my Grandpa was my hero .He sold it for $400.00.dollars.to a old color fellow he work with.At International Paper Company.Around 1980.In Mobile Alabama.Man I was mad when he sold.Right before I got my license In 1980.He it said he wanted me to get something better that it needed to much work .I mean it's looks Identical.Except motor .wheels.All I can say is Wow.I would love to own it.I live in Fort Lauderdale FL.These days.
New exhaust and manifold and hook up kickdown, and you have a great truck inside Nice and tidy 😊 My wife Dorthe loves the colour, thanks Nick great video stay cool 😎 😎
That's a typical old Ford Pickups. Even when they were brand new. You still had to sorta slam ( shut hard) the doors. that's when you know that you have a great restoration. You can't ever gently shut them.
well our markup is so little that our prices are firm. Since all cars are way up we have to pay more on everything than we every have before. This is actually 1000 under market value for the condition of the truck. Every year it will be higher and higher. Honestly 5 years from now you will see this truck around 18-20k same condition. Thats actually being lean , I would not be surprised to see them at 25k, just watch and see. We have been doing this for 40 years and have seen a major trend in what we have had to pay. Thanks for watching
That looks just like my old truck. Same color. Same wheels and moony caps. Same interior. Very close. Mine had an inline six with a three on the tree though. Loved that truck. Especially the bench seat haha!! 😉
Those 64-66 Ford and Chevys were fantastic trucks. Simple and easy to maintain. I’m seriously considering ditching my modern truck completely and going back to a 60s truck full time. I drove a 69 Chevy truck for years daily and it never stopped me from doing anything. It was reliable as anything else as long as I took care of it. Yea takes longer to start and warm up in the cold but so what
You can still find a decent more modern ford truck for less than 15000, with more modern suspension, only problem they all had the same suspension from 65-80
It is begging for a chrome grille, and Torque Thrust wheels, a bigger cam and Cherry Bombs. Well, one Cherry Bomb, as it is right now, it's party on the left, business on the right.
Almost looks my like this truck was not soda blasted in the tight spots on the body. Very poor prep work. It is sad because it has beautiful paint on it.
