The '67s had vent windows, round turn signals in the grill, no center divider between the back up and taillights, and no side markers. If this isn't a 1968 Camaro, someone went through A LOT of trouble to make it look like one.
@@albertchavez2693 , Mine was a 69' but when it comes to the first generation, I used to read, and study everything I could find. I even went to the mall bookstore and bought the Camaro book. Used to dream of them until I bought one. Sadly I no longer have it. My friends called it "Baby" because I loved that car so much.
Wrong arm 😆🤣.. should be out the window 😆🤣.. straight out left arm, left turn.......45' bend at elbow up left arm , right turn.....left arm 45' bent down out window..is stop..... If I remember right... bad ass cars ..keep up the great work
There are certain cars that most of us just shouldn't have, and this is one of 'em. How do you not drive it fast? It would be impossible. "Honey, I'm going to the store. Have the bail money ready."
I own a car similar to this and it’s super fun to drive slow. You can blow the tires off whenever you want. Idle out and light them up and go back to an idle with out really killing the speed limit.
Gotta be the sickest ride I’ve seen you guys get yet. Wish you guys would get more track rides like this one nice man nice. Coming from a drag racing family love the ride
Sweet ride. It would be tough to build that for only $30K. In my state (Mass), you could not get an inspection sticker for it (no blinkers, wipers, window washer) but I'm sure all that can be rigged up easy enough.
Very cool ride, even though it's a little much for the street. I would buy it just for the I finally got the car that I used to see in all those hot rod magazines growing up. I'd proudly park this bad boy on my front yard in the perfect position 😀 Then strut around the neighborhood like Ric Flair...WOOOOO!! 😂👍😎
Here's an interesting fact about 1st gen Camaros with rear spoilers. if the stripes were painted on the trunk lip below the spoiler, it was dealer installed. If the stripes ended at the spoiler, it was factory installed. My 68 Z/28 had a factory installed spoiler, verified by the stripes ending on the spoiler and the build sheet.
Dude man!! I need to borrow this for the weekend drag strip!! DIG OR DIE!!! It's a race a bunch of the guys I follow on RU-vid go to! I'll go win some money and then I could buy it! Sounds like a good deal to me!!! ✌😁
I love Camaros, and this one is real nice but that spoiler looks like they picked it up at ACE Hardware and welded it to the trunk. Such a shame. Whoever buys it should have it removed and put the original back on.
I worked with a guy back in the 90's who had a 67 w/68 doors on it because he didn't like the wing window. I don't recall what motor he had in his although during the season he raced it every weekend at the Woodburn dragstrip here in Oregon Nice Ride!
Nick I’m a regular watcher from 🇨🇦 I’m mean every Monday lot walk and test drives…. Absolutely love your videos and Maple motors I was actually on that lot back in 2014…. My husband and I have a English Bulldog and Staffordshire that hates walking so we bought her a golf cart and every day she get a ride… My husband says to her Tara it’s about that time let’s go for a ride…. ❤❤❤❤😂
Hey son, that ain't no kid, that's a cocktail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig. I know Dad ain't she cool? That's the kind I dig. Race car with a tag on it . Lights, mirrors, quiet enough mufflers, good to go in Alabama. That's probably the quickest car I've seen you run.
This car say's to me ,I am a beast and the only thing I can do is go down track and win the race. God how much more can I do for you. WOW give me the money at the end of road. Love you all. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
Since no one else is going to say it that's not how you do it right hand hand turn signal. Long time subscriber love channel love the cars wish I could afford one or two.
I love it ❤️! I would figure out how to add wipers, turn signals, horn, and speedo. A/C if possible. I’m in FL and there are pop up thunder storms every day. How about an electric A/C from a Prius? Then just put the biggest alternator you can find on it.
I own a 67 Camaro beside whats been mentioned 67 camaro doesn't have the astro ventilation in the rear quarters in the door jamb..its 68 and 69 only. You can also see the left side of the dash here it has the mounting hole for the dash pad which goes down the side of the dash, the 67 dash pad only sits on top of the dash.
I think that thing is definitely at 68 those marker lights give it away for sure, and I highly doubt anybody would stick 68 doors and put the marker lights on a 67 could be wrong though it’s a crazy world🤷🏼♂️
i had the 68 black camaro ss car rollbar in1983 it was raced black paint was flawless when you opened drivers door you crawled over bar to get into a basically stock interior.i had to buy without 454 motor that was all chromed.it was pro built tubbed car.owner didnt care he was willing to separate body and motor and trans.you dont see that anymore for sure...i never got to drive it but i paid 4500 for body a long haired skinny blonde girl came along and i sold it for a engagement ring she left me 5 years later after car was gone im 60 now and still kick myself
Nick, turn signals are done using your left arm! Upside down "L"(flip top & bottom) is right turn. Left arm straight out is left turn. Slowing down, left arm straight, up and down motion. Stop is left arm capital "L" shape and clinched fist! 😉 😂 😂 😂 😉
Over here in Western Europe, there would be no way in hell this car would be allowed to be driven on a public road. Sure, it's made for the track, but it baffles me that it's ok to drive it in regular traffic in the US. Very cool ride though.
So Nick....after seeing this video (and I've watched and shared many of them) I JUST HAVE TO ASK ...wth is your personal showoff ride?? And I see you play music " as I do too " so I know you have a badass system in your personal badass musclecar.
I wonder why the buyer traded it back in so soon for something else? Problems? Or just didn't dig it. I know it has stuff that I would want to fix, like the windows not rolling up. Otherwise, I love it.
As most of us watch Barrett-Jackson and Mecum auctions what's wrong with this picture unless it's a highly abused hot rod that should be double the price. 🤯😁👍👍👍
You're obviously way too young to know how to signal prior to the advent of turn signals. Here's what you do, ALL with your LEFT arm outside the driver's window - Left turn - left arm straight out the driver's window, pointing to the left Right turn - left arm straight out, bend forearm straight up in the air, creating an "L" Slow down - left arm out ,but bent down towards the ground, palm facing the rear of the car.
Like any1 behind you can see the hand jesters you made inside the car lol with that big wing on the back threw the r-cage bars .. i was always under the impression tht hand signals was the left hand outside the driver's window common dude how they supposed to see that ...
Nice toy car for sure with a few extra modifications for daily use but I miss the original dash and wonder why it has doors from a '68 The top trim to the window was present at the beginning of the video lol
