Bro I used to own this same model/year! I will tell you, never had so much fun with a car! jumping train tracks, being chased ( I wont give more details), cruising on strips, and sleeping in the back seat. man I loved my baby! so proud and happy to of owned this year of car!!!

Love the 283! Great, tough engine. Will run forever. And console automatic! Need minor work, but that's what old cars are about.

That's a nice cruiser, good on gas and not meant for the red light racing. Good job as usual Nick. Suggestion for test driving ragtops, put your bag on the floormats.

An Impala SS emblem can be seen on the RF fender at 1:12, but not sure the car is a true SS.

Great videos, yer right, time to put the top down today. It's going to be in the upper 60s today. I have me a 2001 Firebird in red with a black convertible top. And yes, it does have the 3.8L motor. But it runs and looks like it is new. So it is fast with and it has the kick down hooked up. Or as I call it, the passing gear works fine.

Nice car. The color combo looks really good. This one has the turbo instead of the powerglide like most 283's did. This is the first year of the best looking Impalas. 67 thru 70 in my opinion looks better than the other years. It runs awesome for a 283, are you sure it's not bigger than that, like a 327?
