But this particular Grand Prix needs to loose the trans am scoop, those hideous wheels and that emblem on the sale panel, needs the 5 lovers back on it and a set of 15 inch slotted mags and she’s good

What needs to happen is that the wheels/RIMS ARE NOT MENT TO BE ON ANY VEHICLE FROM 1940 TO PRESENT DAY PUTTING OVERSIZED RIMS ON ANY VEHICLE IS PURE STUPIDITY AND TAKES AWAY FROM ITS VALUE I would Strongly suggest that 15x8 for the front and 15x10 for the rear PMD Rims

I had a ‘69 Model J .. it came with a 400 cu. ,400 Turbo Trans and dual exhaust factory. ... paid 900.00 for it used with 59k on it. Nice car but is was a boat.

My grandfather had a 1969 Grand Prix. His was blue, with a white vinyl top. Purchased it off the showroom floor, at Mike Salta Pontiac.

hearing that exhaust in the beginning i knew it had to have something good under the hood and it really doesnt get any bigger or better than a 455. aside from the rediculous rims thats a damn good price for it, not my favorite muscle car but it IS a muscle car and i wouldnt kick it out of my garage.

A friend of mine bought one of these in 1980 for $500. It had the 455 HO. We crammed 6 kids in it and went uphill at 145mph. Good times.

One of my favorite cars Nick!! These cars fly!! My sister had a 79. She go8t stuck in an ice patch in the winter and could not get off!! Laugh??!! She called my dad at work and yelled HELP!! They got alot of power!!

Bought one in 69 in 70 ran into the side of a truck at 65 miles an hour wife and child no seat.belts we walked away well built wish I could have one again

They didn’t make a 69-72 Grand Prix from factory with a his and hers shifter, or swivel buckets, and the 400 was the xH code 400 that would have 350hp the 375 Hp would be the 428

@@josephdavis6538 The 400 engine could be ordered in 265, 350, or 370 horsepower flavors while the 428 H.O. engine put out a respectable 390 horsepower. One source I found.

Pontiac's are hard to perfect and getting the correct things is a rarity Butler Performance out of Lawrenceburg TN could make this car a WILD ASS ROCKET WITH USING STOCK OEM COMPONENTS

I didn’t realize until watching this video again, but the front bumper or the hood is so out of line, it makes the beak on the hood look bent, and that exhaust is ragged together, a good set of headers and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with some SLP mufflers would sound badass, I have the mat set up on my 69 Grand Prix, and also In 69 the Grand Prix has a part on the master cylinder I forget the name but it helps with the brakes, that’s probably why it has bad brakes bc that car would be standard with power disc brakes u less some outs changed them which would be stupid. The brakes on my 69 Grand Prix are the same way even tho the brake system is brand new.

It's no wonder there's an exhaust leak, someone shot the muffler full of bullet holes! All this car needs is for the lucky new owner to take a trip to BMS and have a custom interior plus a complete set of disc brakes installed.

Damn shame who built that car did a crappy job. It rare to have a electric defrost (most had a blower motor) in a '69 GP, plus the cornering lights , tilt with gauges. I bet that was a 428 car when it was new.

My first car was a 69 Grand Prix. I’d love to have another one but purple with the donk wheels is not my style. Also not the original engine if it’s a 455. 69only offered with the 350 hp 400, 428 with 360hp or 428ho with 370 hp. Pontiac called it “the gentleman’s muscle car.
