This car was for sale in NE Philly back before Christmas as I was a serious buyer but due to a storage issue I could not buy car at the time. The previous owner told me it was from NJ and was a drag car back in the day hence the goodies on it but sat for a few years before he purchased it. I test drove this car and it was a beast! It had no problem doing a burnout from a stop sign and you could hear it from two blocks away! Some of the minor things that needed attention were within reason of the $36k agreed upon price. Good luck to next owner as they are getting a nice car.I still regret not buying this GOAT!
I don't think " I " would pay that much for a 70 goat ! I would if everything worked properly because it does look clean and I like that color , and it has speeding tickets written all over it ❗ LOL ❤🐏z 👍👍z👆Nick 🖐✌❗ It Rockz🎤🎸
Damm!!!! That's a Goat that will brake your Neighborhood windows while driving through!!!! What a Beautiful color!!!! Awesome car Nick!!!! Uncle Jeff, Jim, and everyone else at Maple Motors, You guys are Bad Ass Bad to the Bone!!!!
My g/f in hs got one one these after graduation. It was so cool. In reality, it was a nice, new brown paint job and stickers over Bondo, coat hanger exhaust, and seat covers. After one winter of driving, it started to fall apart :( It was fun while it lasted!
Not a bad price because having the matching motor numbers adds unity and if it went across the Barrett/Jackson Auction floor it would bring a high value! Nice car!
Good looking and sounding car. Daaaaang lots of hating on the price and it’s already history, reminds me of Shiela E “If you have to ask you can’t afford it lingerie”
Maple motors makes America 🇺🇸 great again Looking forward to seeing every video even if the car is sold Thank you for supporting American made cars and keeping the American spirit alive
I`m tired of fake gto`s not saying that the one you showed is, it's very nice. Try finding the GTO- lille sister. My fist car cost me $800 and needed a clutch. Installed by my self on my back in my driveway and waited six months for my license.
That a pillar bubbling up at the top kills me. That car looks really solid overall. Trunk lid lower lip looks like it might be bad. Such a shame when a couple of things like that get painted over so nicely. I'd drive the wheels off that thing don't get me wrong. 50 year old plus!! Beautiful
No, actually the values have stalled, even come down from about 5 to 10 years ago. I'm trying to sell my 72 GTO and the value will not go back up to where it was not that long ago.
Beautiful looking car Nick, but, bit of smoke (and water/condensation vapour) from the exhaust, possible rust in both windscreen pillars and blending the paint following repairs is difficult to match. Maybe a bit over priced but I enjoy these videos and reckon they're one of the best in the classic muscle car market. Thanks.
Initial paint and interior look great. However, I immediately noticed all the exterior and interior GTO emblems and insignia are missing? Makes me wonder if this is truly a GTO or a clone made from a Lemans or something. So I would really check out the VIN plate to make sure it's the original VIN plate and truly a GTO VIN plate. I had a 67 GTO in the 70s and it had GTO emblems in the front grill, on the rear trunk deck, and on both sides as well as in the interior I believe on the front of the dash and on both interior door panels. I prefer a muscle car with all the original emblems and insignia inside and out so you can spot exactly what it is from 100 feet away like back in the day! lol For GTOs there have been clones made from a Lemans passed off and sold as a GTO before. If truly a GTO I would put all the emblems and insignia back on it where they belong! Bob
visors, gas gauge, blower motor, turn signal daylights, no AC 😢, paint bubbles, other than that awesome looking car! Love all the GTO’s ! I’ve owned a 68, 69 vert 4 speed AC car & a 70 Judge clone !
Gosh, almost no clearance on those rear tires. Amazing looking, just wonder how much, if any movement there is that could rub on the fenders. Sweet car though! I'm trying to sell my 72 GTO, lower price than this one.
I love ❤️ the car, just don't love the price. I recognize some of the areas you were driving in. I used to live in Goodlettsville, but now I'm in Wyoming
Hey Nick What a beautiful GTO. It doesn't seem like it would take much to iron out the few bugs this great car seems to have. I am a thru and thru Bow-Tie fan, but this is one of the few non - Chevrolet cars I would definitely love to own. Slide in an LS-7 when nobody is looking, and yee - haa what fun you'd have. At first glance, you think, holy mackerel, $45 k for that car, then you start thinking about, 1.) Finding a rust free, numbers matching car. 2.) Rebuild everything. 3.) Do all the work to make the body arrow straight, and give it a sweet paint job....... Next thing you know, you have a $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 into it. At that point, that $45,000.00 asking price starts to look like a bargain. Take care Bud
Beautiful GTO. Paint bubbling would have been the deal breaker at 44k. Appreciate Nick doing a in depth walk around and pointing that out. Still a nice car without the ridiculous looking electric fuel pump hanging in the back of the car. That would be a easy fix the paint fix is not.
Yo your picking up a lot f wind noise last few videos. It's really annoying don't know if you have new mic maybe put one of those hats on mic just a thoughts love the videos
Lmao wow really thats a joke. I’ll take 100 Of them, find them for us and you can make a damn good living. As you can see we sold this an hour after posting for asking price.
