I've seen a lot of BYD cars being used as taxis in Zhenzhen China. I rode a 5 year old BYD taxi with 650,000 kms odom alr and still running in good condition.

Ganda nga bro plus the fact na mahaba ang kilometrahe nyang kayang abutin sa 400+ at maluwag nadin for a hatchback, maganda din ang infotainment nya. BYD is really bankable nadin.

I am thinking of buying my first Electric Car, coming from a Mazda 3 2010. I am thinking of getting this BYD Dolphin or the Wuling Gameboy. It makes me excited on saving money but still being able to use a car for traveling. Mahirap din kasi mag commute especially that transpo modes are no longer running for 24 hrs unlike before the pandemic.

@@roselitovillar9611 You have to test drive a Tesla for a week and drive it across the nation ( I live in Canada , where Teslas dominate in EVs) and experience the car and its connectivity and how it operates to appreciate what Tesla is compared to legacy auto, Tesla OTA, Infotainment and Supercharger charging system is leagues ahead of the others.

Walang charging infrastructure ang Pilipinas, Parating brownout at napakamahal ng kuryente, it takes 20 yrs bago magkaroon nyan. mabuti bumaba na presyo nito to 1.8M, 2.4M ito last year sa isang reseller. but still, bili ka ng Vios o Corolla, madami tirang pera pambayad ng gas. Gobyerno natin wala pa ginagawa to accelerate EVs saka renewable energy, around 1M pesos lang itong Dolphin sa China.

With oil prices just keeps going up and new players coming in the ph market with their ev or hybrid car. It just a matter of time that combustion engine will be a thing of the past. BTW our govt. has already started something by implementing the evida law with some aid from private sectors like sm and ayalas having ev charging stations inside their malls, so i think it's point to the right direction.

BYD dolphin selling for 880k php in China but here in PH it is priced at 1.68m PHP. Compared to fuel efficient subcompacts like Kia Picanto or Suzuki S-Presso that go for 500-700k. Ano sa tingin niyo ang bibilhin ng carbuyers sa ganyang budget? EV in ph still premature, hintay pa tayo half a decade hanggang bumaba ang price at dumami EV infrastructure sa pinas. Yung mga charging stations na nakikita niyo sa malls kakaunti na nga lang, hindi pa gumagana.
