Test Drive the 2007 Lexus RX350 

Lexus RX's have always been such great suvs, very smooth riding and good acceleration, wry nice interiors and very reliable, they really hold their value too

The 2nd generation Lexus RX is one of the greatest cars Toyota ever built.

I have a 2008 rx 350 , has 285,000 km on it , and it drives like its brand new, bought it off my father inlaw last year with 230,000 km on it. Only thing I had to change was the oil and air filter, and the battery because it was original battery and it died on me. Other then that it was safety certified and runs perfectly . acceleration is nice has that same engine sound yours does . The only thing that I don't like was the leather seat interior only because it is starting to crack because of ageing . AC is fast , same with the heat. Anyone who is looking to buy a used rx 350 , mine is 11 years old and runs like brand new to give you an idea of how reliable they are , they are also very safe.

I like toyotas and lexus, they are reliable and last long and saves you money especially if you are a teenager which I am. Its pointless for people to hate them for no reason

Hey, Jason Winter from St. Louis Missouri here. I have a girlfriend in my life who's mom has pretty much this same kind of Lexus RX350 that you have except it's in a different color and it also has its own GPS navigation system built into it which is above where the stereo system is at in yours. I have riden in it many times with my girlfriend and her mom and yes it is a very nice and quiet comfortable riding car indeed. I even get to sit up in the front seat of it too which I enjoy even more.

Thanks for this video. I am considering purchasing a 2007 Lexus RX 350. I'm going to be traveling a lot in the next coming years putting on a lot of miles on whatever I purchase. Would a 2007 Lexus RX 350 be a good choice? I was also thinking of a 2009 Chevy Equinox.

Is the Mark Levinson sound system available without the navigation? I am looking at a 2009 since I don't care for the body change on the 2010 and up plus I can't afford them. Live in PA so I want to replace me Acura TL since it is horrible in the snow but it has an awesome stereo and I heard the Mark Levinson system sounds even better then the ELS surround sound system on my Acura TL.

Hello! I am a current graduate school student who is also an ordained minister. I am in search of a new vehicle, an SUV to be specific. I previously had an ES 350. I am in the middle of deciding between a 2007 RX 350/400h or a 2007 4Runner, which in your opinion would be the better choice.

Any issues that you could tell me about before I go buy one. Gonna get a 2007, 2010 or 2011

Love this car, it was one of my favorites out of every car we've had. The only reason we got rid of it was because we started seeing too many of them out on the road.

Hi bro... I just bought a 2005 rx2005.. When the A/C is off the car drives very smoothly. And when the A/C is on it becomes a little heavier and loaded. Also I can hear a small whining sound in first and second gear shifting.. I have been going through many rx330 drive tests on RU-vid and can hear that tiny whining noise in almost all cars especially while A/C is on it is louder.. Is that quite normal?

Hey Kyle, Do you think the RX series 2006-2007 model would be a descent upgrade over a 2004 Toyota Highlander..I am thinking about selling my Highlander and getting a RX since I love my IS250 so I figured why not swap out the other vehicle for a lexus right. P.S what is the towing capacity of the RX

first i thought a noisy engine.stand outide and motor is on hood is open but i do like engine sound sound like lion when you did Acceleration test. you live awsome absolute awsome. and yes i enjoy it. be nice to have a little compare test between 2007 and the 1999 if it is from a buisnes men or some one who allways maintain by a dealer car garage and also a clean car wil last a long time

The rear taillights of the 2007 Lexus RX350 remind me of 2014 Nissan Rogue's rear taillights.

@watsonj101 If you opt for the LaCrosse get the 3.6 SIDI. The 3.6 has been around since 2005 in one way shape or form. Originally an SFI Cadillac engine it has gotten the SIDI treatment for the Traverse, Enclave and other GM cars. It has proven to be a very reliable, and strong powerplant. The 2.4 SIDI engine is also a smooth, powerful, reliable engine. Either way the Buick should prove reliable.

Lexus (supposedly) doesn't share any engines with Toyota. This engine is therefore not the same 3.5 you'd find in the Camry (at the very least heavily modified).

I'm looking for a dependable SUV or sedan that is spacious, smooth riding, and decent on gas mileage. Thanks for your advise. I will surely take it into consideration.

I agree with your engine sound comment. This motor in the RX350 sounds familiar but a bit deeper and throatier than the Camry 3.5.

@irw08 Definitely, my mom had an '05 Avalon Limited and it definitely sounded more "feminine" (I suppose) than the RX. When inside and with the stereo off, windows closed, etc...you could hear a light exhaust note (kind of like the 350Z).

@derbigpr500 You're only saying that because of the recent problems Lexus/Toyota have been experiencing. Check where you find your reliability stats and awards won. I think you'll be surprised. I'm preety sure this Lexus only recieved normal maintainence and had a few problems fixed on it for the amount of mileage it's been driven, German and British(Indian?) cars will last that long but will require a lot more expensive maintainence and repairs to achieve that mileage. Lexus is a real luxurycar

@watsonj101 Then yes, I wouldnt even consider the 4runner. As for sedans, the Buick LaCrosse or any of its GM stable mates are excellent choices as well is the Lexus IS cars and ES cars.

@kplee89 i have a ford expedition 1998 in year and it has 452,000 miles on it unbielavabley, but you can't tell. i also have a 2009 king ranch 4x4 expedition and the interior is to die for, i guess what i'm trying to say is toyota isn't the only ones with great quility, that rumor about ford is just a rumor.
