Test Driving the 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT-4! 

I was shocked at how good this car was. Sooo much fun, especially for the price.

I just got one last week, I'm enjoying my caliber so much

What did you have to do? Is it a non interference motor?

mine just jumped the timing, but i've replaced everything else on it, what else can go wrong? X D

@@danf7653 yes it is considered a non interference motor, however there is a small percentage of this motor that the valves can contact the pistons if it does jump time. It happens when too much carbon builds up on the pistons and valves when it jumps time they make contact. 4 intake valves were bent.

I love mine but a biggest pet peeve of mine is that the entire interior of them is plastic except the seats and the wheel.

@@brothasgrge3533 I have the Mopar stage 1 PCM tune, 577 injectors upgraded intercooler aftermarket HKS blow off valve and custom-made exhaust, I'm going to get the DiabloSport tuner so I can do about 20 lb of boost

It's fine bub we all learn right? The single best thing about the Caliber is the Transmisson. The getrag 6 speed is great, once you install a LSD. I'm at the point where i cannot do much more then a fuel system, (built motor sleeved, AGP Zeta big turbo kit) Sometime's i wonder why i put so much money into a FWD but then i think how many CSRT4's do you come by?
