I get the appeal, but it sounds very colored to my ears. Great for those who'd love to have a Klipsch-style fun sounding cartridge and don't mind the high end roll off and midbass bump. IMO the top Charisma Audios and the Hana Umami better. Edit: I'll eat my words. After listening a bit more this is a wondeful cartridge.
The sound of DAVA Fc in coloration identical to Telefunken M15 tape recorder sound.All the people who have heard it say that it has litlle coloration:)
@@dariusvaliunas3266 I wholeheartedly apologize Darius, after listening more to Vil's recordings I've realized the reason it sounds strange was not the cartridge (or the recording). If I was a vinylphile I'd buy this because it sounds like the best digital, with none of the usual downsides of vinyl. Again, I apologize.
@@Audiofilas I'm sorry. After listening more to your recordings I realized the cartridge itself is amazing. On the other hand, are the speeds in your turntable calibrated? After doing some back and forth comparisons with the original recordings, and especially after you played a recording I know well (Daft Punk's Random Access Memories) they still sounded quite weird, though the problem seems to be narrowed down to the turntable. The pitch is wrong which changes the perception of sound. The problem didn't seem to be there when your system was done in digital so perhaps there's something going on with your Garrard.
