Thats always been my issue, I like the new Yamaha's but then I realize I can buy an Arctic Cat that is the exact same sled but doesn't have the ski problem and probably has better shocks. So in this case I would just get a ZR9000

I hear you Troy. Another thing to consider is the drive belt for the Sidewinder is $90-100.00 vs $250 for the ZR9000. I understand the clutching is a little better on the SW as well vs Cats ZR as the clutches run cooler on the SW vs the Team clutches on the ZR. I have the new Team clutching on my ZR7000 and it seems to work very well for me. So, the jury is still out. I do like the reduced cost of the SW belt though.

would like to have more numbers(stats) with your tests. something like the car mags do... 0-100kms, fastest safe speed in a mogul run, actual max rider weight the machine will handle etc.... would make it more fun to compare with other models, instead of this machine is fast and that's it.

What plug issues dude. I have a 2014 hurricane turbo with a power commander and clutched with 7200 miles on it. Guess what plugs are clean as a set of new ones.

Any noise complaint at all we have one and it's real noisy and rattley sounding at lower speeds. Sounds clutch related but really hard to pin point it.

tuner skis are old and weren't made for this sled. why doesn't Yamaha make a new updated ski for these sleds? using the same old ski for 10 years is absurd

to much power for me. I usually don't drive fast. I would probably like a non turbo just as much.

love how they skipped viper. tried to squeeze all there pennies out of it still. sorry. but the viper is trash and is a huge waste on customer loyalty and money. I'll never buy another Yamaha again.
