hello there ,just found this video ,nice to see the Conti GT in the sun and warmth ,almost forgotten what its like .I rode this same bike from IN2MOTO myself in November ,on the RE open day ,it was cold with the rain going down me neck and drops of rain on the camera ,but i still felt 18yrs old ,having a whale of a time ,i am not 18 by the way 😁.The only problem i had was as you say ,the pressure on the wrists ,and i should think it might give neck problems ,but if i could persuade the wife ,i am sure you could get used to it.All the besr .chris

I own another Cafe Racer inspired bike, a 1980 inline four Kawasaki 650, my wife and I created. It has clubman bars on it, so that type of low slung bar appeals to me immensely. The Continental bars are at a better bend then my clubman bars on my KAWI, Plus are infinitely more adjustable. The Continental 650 can really turn in and eat up the twisties when pushed. I come from a racing background, and I am 66 years old, been riding since I was 13. So easy to pass Harleys on the twisties leaving them wondering what the hell was that. Yep, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is the perfect platform for creating the perfect Cafe Racer you can imagine. I plan on riding well into my seventies and BEYOND!!!! CHEERS!!! 🏁🏁

Don't you love the whine, and snickedy snick of the transmission. I absolutely love my 2022 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650! A Classic British designed motorcycle, sure to endure a lifetime! 🏁🏁

absolutely, I tried to mention the 'sound' a few times but I think the audio..although ok in itself , didn't do the sound of the bike justice. LOVED it. 👍

@@someoldude7578 Definitely heard the whine of that beautiful engine making it's magic sound as you rode. The engine and exhaust well mated and suited for the 650 Enfield. Tank shape is patterned after vintage cafe racer bikes of old. The only mods I might perform are tires at a latter date, and perhaps some dyno tuning. I want my GT to basically retain it's looks and sound out of the crate. Classic naked Cafe Styling, that turns heads everywhere you go. I have the British Racing Green tank, which is what I wanted. Top of the day my friend, love your channel, subbed!!! 🏁🏁

Thanks mate, as I always say, 'I don't do stats', BUT, when someone let's you ride 'Their' bike, for two hours AND they let you use 'their' fuel...and all 'you' have to do is mention just a few, WELL dude its a no brainer....show me to the bike 😂😂😂. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍🙂

I am convinced the better cornering is due to the peg position. I changed my interceptor pegs to GT and it transformed my confidence in cornering

You can get risers, Cooperb bikes do them. I've fitted them to my continental as I'm old and have a touch of arthritis in my wrists. Prefer the look without them but comfort wise it does make a significant difference. The centre stand isn't standard either but have also fitted one to my bike. The seat can be easily changed too.

@@stanleylawson9015 Yes, I found the sitting position on the GT was too uncomfortable for my old bones over long distances so I got the more upright Interceptor and then added the handlebar risers, now it's a much more comfortable position. I'm considering getting a more comfortable seat...it's fine for short rides but can get a bit sore on longer trips, other than that I'm happy with it. 👍
