On a dry, cold, December sunny day, I test rode the 208hp MV Agusta Brutale 1000RS, courtesy of my local dealer The Mansell Collection, a mere snip at £23,000.
Beautiful to look at and pretty comfortable too.
All singing and dancing electronics but no heated grips.
Not much happening below 5000 rpm, but it starts to get a serious move on above that, up to its limit of 13000 rpm.
You will need a nearby racetrack or closed road to enjoy this 186mph plus machine. Handles really well, even on cold Corsa tyres ......
What a machine for the lucky few with deep wallets.
Thanks again to the boys at The Mansell Collection for the test ride.
Pop down to your local dealer and have a look at the MV range.

It’s like watching Bergerac all over again. You go along one road and come out on another 😜. Lovely bike and I agree, too much for the road but good for top trumps willy waving down at the biker cafe.

how is the reliability of this motorcycle versus a suzuki hayabusa or kawasaki ? Are there mechanical or electrical issues being that they are italian made and all ?
@gsd32i
@gsd32i Год назад
Build quality looked very good . I would suspect that electrical issues would have been sorted , but I can’t comment really as it was a short test ride .

@@gsd32i GSD, when you were riding it, how did you feel about the comfort of the ride? Do you think it would make a more comfortable long distance ride than a hayabusa for "tall riders" who are 6'3" tall in height ?

How tall are you?

There's not much chance of a decent top gear roll on, being an inline 4 and geared for nearly 190mph I guess. Will be a very,very tall 6th presumably.

Ok I have seen a lot of these reviews in the B4 and they are all same, with the same predictable outcome. This machine cannot be reviewed in its full this way, you need to own one and then post an opinion about it. The engine on the RS is not the same as in the RR, Oro, Rush or Nürburgring. The engine for the RR, Oro, Rush or Nürburgring is the same engine used in the F4 RC WSBK bike, literally the same. The bike come factory with a 16-tooth front sprocket. On the RR gift box there's a 15-tooth sprocket. I waited the 600 miles period for the 1st oil change then I changed to the 15-tooth, and it changed the whole dynamic of the bike. MV sell the race kit which consist of the ECU and full titanium exhaust. I recommend adding this to this platform is a whole different thing. It will change this to a WSBK bike. You'll have more 200 hp to the wheel instead of the crank with the new ECU and in the process loose about 18kg/40 lbs. and eliminated the under pipe which heats the seat. I've raced Ferraris, Lambos, Hayas with and without turbo and everything in between and none, absolutely not one of them come to even 0.0002% of the acceleration of this beast. If you think is quick now, comparing it to OEM is like comparing a 1000cc bike with a 150cc scooter. Instead of waking up at 9k RPMS now it is always wake up and after 6k rpm better hold on to dear life because it will go to hyper drive. Neutral in OEM trim is 1250 rpms with the race ECU is 1450 rpms. It sounds like an Italian F1 V8 the sound is very impressive; I can't even turn it on after 7 pm to avoid problem with neighbors. On the RR the wheels are forged instead of cast and not only the suspension is semi active is also 7mm thinner making easier to turn on the twisties, 43mm instead 50mm on the RS, plus lower clip Ons for better aerodynamics and all the bit pieces of plastic on the RS are carbon fiber on the other models. If you own one of these incredible machines, I encourage you to make the effort and spend the extra 4k euros and get the race kit it is worth every penny. The reason MV sell OEM this bike this way with the 16-tooth and the constraint factory ECU is that normal people will not get scared of this machine. In race trim she does not like it under 3k rpms, does not like to do any kind normal rides (like going 65 steady) with a bunch of other bikes. I ride alone on the MV it's either on or off, no in-between. The bike does not have an anti wheele instead is a front lift control which permits the bikes front wheel lift the right amount to give the rear wheel the maximum grip. My cousin owns a GT500 a 427AC Cobra and a GT40 and believe me is faster than any of those. I do not race with anyone anymore is no fun with this bike. I just ride alone very fast and then go home.

Thanks for posting . Really beautiful bike that I would be happy for it to be in my hall with some up lighters and I would just admire it . A bike that is really wasted on the public highway as are all these 200 plus hp machines if we are honest . But a beautiful bike it is . If I was still doing track days then it would be thrashed around the track , but as far as the road goes , no not really . Enjoy the beautiful machine and keep the front wheel down 👍

@@narsustv1331 That's your prerogative if you believe me or not. I'm speaking with the facts. If you have access to a B4 or you know someone who own any of these cars, ask them. Give me an email so I can send you pictures of all my bikes, and you can see how young I am.
