That was a great learning video. thanks for showing how things can go wrong. I appreciate the content of this test panel paint job. I'm learning all along the journey.
I’m glad the video was helpful and showed what can really happen and that it doesn’t always go smoothly, I hope the channel continues to be helpful to you !
🤣🤣🤣 that’s a good one Triggerman 💯 I ain’t going nowhere, I can’t let the paint community be bored by some of those other channels 👀 Appreciate you bro 💪🏾
You are the one who is keeping me current on My favorite Job. I love to paint but it's not my Profession anymore, wish I could still paint in a setup like yours but the high-rent district keeps me on pause. Rent for Shops and garages is outrageous in my area.
Well Mr. UPK, Thats a glassy finish for sure! I've always heard the GTi Pro Lites need speed..... I don't own one, But thats what i hear... All in All, Your still out here teaching people this trade, and its people like yourself keeping people in the trade and or DIY! Keep it up bud! Also can i get in on that WET WET WET drippy drip land? 🤐 100 THUMBS UP!
😂😂😂 Come on over to Drippy Drip Land🤣 appreciate you Bama Builds, I see now that you need speed for this copy cat just like the real deal so hopefully I’ll be good next time and at least it’s a helpful video for someone else 💯💪🏾
I didn't catch what tip you were using but hey I use the Matco scorpion line 1.4 and my devibiss I use 1.4 for base and clear and yeah it put out that material so I always watch how material is hitting surface cause it will run in a second 😂😂😂😂 that's where my distance and speed is crucial 🤛🏾🏁🏁🏁
It’s a 1.3 or 1.4 tip but it was my fault not respecting it being a Devilbiss copy which I spray with Devilbiss spray guns and know they put out a lot of material, this was a rough one 🤣🤣🤣
See u using that grow auto reducer. Things are pricey now and that has been the most affordable brand out there. I haven't noticed any issues so far after using a few cans🤞 Another good video UPK. Enjoying the surge of content lately👍💥👍💥👍
First thing I did when I picked up painting on the side, went to the junkyard and grabbed a minivan test hood, that thing has so many coats of sealer, primer, paint and clear on it it’s like concrete lol
brother paint king ,,, i got one of those my self i spray with 21/2 turn out from close on fluid ,,,, base coat 25 psi ,,,, same fluid adjustments and 30 psi for clear ,,,, and yes this gun is a lot faster than the R500 l.v.l.p and will shoot out lot more material ,,, so base and clear you most move faster than the R500 l.v.l.p guns especially with this gun
I have the Rolketu version also, I agree,it puts out the product, I gave it a 👍, when I sprayed with it the first time 👍👍, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Copy cat's?
King, you definitely went slow on the side & faster on the flat top, I once tried a pro lite copy and it was pretty good, but the TE 20 cap was different to the genuine devilbiss & the copy fan pattern was wetter & not as wide so on a panel like yours with that ridge at the edge would build up & sag over the edge if you went too slow, just got it to compare to my devilbiss TE 20 then sold it got my money back & the guy is still using it but its not a devilbiss bro. Great video tho King 👑, love the show ❤
Im running a 30 gallon air compressor, and the main reason why I bought the r700 was because it said lvlp. I hope I didn’t make a mistake… smh. Appreciate the responses. I definitely have a lot of questions
You know Boss, maybe it's time for the Prince to take over the business and you just do the voice overs. 😂 I have a question on my UPK/R500. I did my base and clear with the 1.3 tip. I believe the 1.7 is for primer. What would I use the 1.5 for? As always, thanks for all of your guidance.
That’s difficult to say because I use them both on different setups, the black one is for a small compressor setup and this spray gun is for a big compressor setup, appreciate you checking out the video!
Just out of curiosity, if this were an actual paint project, what steps would you take to fix the clear coat runs and drips? Otherwise, the panel looks pretty good.
I’m going to be working on a video on fixing this issue or what method to take to fix it! I have a older video on this exact issue that I can link if you’d like
Pretty much any paint gun will give you quality only as far as the prep, but I say in this video it could be a combination of pressure, temperature & movement. But the most important is the tip. It’s only my expression. So what you guys think
Thanks Bigg Homie, I appreciate you and that pearl was from Matrix, some old stuff I had on the shelf. Check with Grant7 at BuyCustomPaint.com and he’ll have some nice pearls and candy for you
@UndergroundPaintKing ok i follow him all be cuttin up with tha paint i got a hood im doin for practice got to wet sand it but im so lost smh i follow u sprayway tru grit & farraway im tryin
Hi new subscriber here from the good old and cold UK😁I've tried these fake/copy ProLite guns and they are nothing like the real thing yeah they look nice but don't spray like the real ProLite, I have the genuine ProLite and Pro but found the copy version to be very centre heavy plus the fan is smaller so try dialling the fluid in a couple of turns, if not you will get runs at the speed you are spraying, ask me how I know🤠🤣John UK.
Thanks John I appreciate you and I did some more spraying with it and got better results with it after dialing the fluid down. I appreciate you subscribing to the channel 🙏🏾💯
I do like these types of videos where you show everything, the good and the bad. The Trigger Man recommended your channel so I thought I would drop in and see what your up to and I'm lovin your work so far🙏🙏👍
Eu trabalho com a GTI PRO e tenho que jogar com a agulha! Com o verniz na primeira demão dou 1 volta e meia. Na segunda faço com 2 voltas na agulha. E nunca escorre comigo
It looks like you should have used the ar500 airpro and then turn your pressure down low and then it would come out like a piece of birthday cake beautiful
My friend, this gun works at 40 psi with 3 turns material output, try to do the whole car and you will see the results, remember for base 2.1/2 end clear 3 turn at 40 psi,bye bye of italian Carlo💪💪💪
AA how about two racks of pork ribs with that fender since you are cutting it up today ! Nahh I'm just playing if you ran it something wasn't right for sure. It did look like your crawled along all the setting are wide open obviously but something not right ..
Yea bro you slowed down… plus you had already said it blast off a lot of material to start with.. the first sag with the base was your warning… redue it fast bro!! Only thing you guilty of like all of us” creatures of habit”..
It pushes out more L/min than the lvlp guns. I learned that researching differences between Chinese guns and expensive guns. I like the flop in the panel though!
@@UndergroundPaintKing I was actually broke I had just spent money on school that was a waist of time 2nd kid I was 22 years old and I got the guns from eBay I felt great I was super happy
