Testament and Overkill are probably the most consistent old school thrashers right now. They never dissapoint.

This is a trip. First Megadeth come out with the best music of their career, now Metallica comes roaring back with Hardwired, now Testament at top quality? This old guy feels like he's back in the 80's!

No matter how shitty this year has been for other things, it has been great for music. New Megadeth, Anthrax, Raubtier, Sabaton, Testament, and Metallica... can't beat that.

Man this year is insane for thrash. Been listening to the new Death Angel record for months now, also love the new Vektor record, Anthrax & Megadeth released solid records and Testament & Overkill seem to deliver solid stuff as well.

Testament's has an incredible lineup right now. The rhythm section to my favorite Death album Individual Thought Patterns (Gene Hoglan & Steve DiGiorgio), Eric Peterson's monster riffs, Alex Skolnick's virtuoso guitar solos, and Chuck Billy's immense vocal presence.

What I love about Testament is that over the years they've gotten more and more heavy. Like if you go from something like Souls of Black to this it's such a big difference. But all of it is fucking stellar!

Man, it's the second song of Testament I've listened to (the first was The Pale King) and it's just mindblowing!!!

I listened to them for the first time at last night's show, they have a new fan now. Moreover, it was a pleasure to se Steve DiGiorgio live.

I saw them with lamb of God in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I did not know of testament prior. I couldn't believe how good their performance was when the played native blood . I am just blessed to have seen Alex Soliec lead guitar solos before thrash musicians are no longer able to play. It was a great show I'll never forget

Good to see and hear a band stepping up and write up lyrics that tells the truth about our reality. Not to mention the music itself kicks some serious ass. Food for thought and Thrash for headbanging that thought.
