Great video. Does the Rail have front and rear suspension lock outs? Anyone know if there are companies that offer touring racks for these frame configurations?
I have this bike. It’s fantastic 👌. What is the drink bottle cage you have on this..? There’s a design fault where the rear shock hits the bottle. So picking the right cage is extremely hard.
No issues within the test period, which included testing some other tyres as well and playing around with lower tyre pressures. Trek were one of the first brands to use rims with a higher impact rating for their eMTBs. The experience shows with the spec and build of their current range.
@@danielekirylo it really depends on personal preference, arm/leg/torso length etc. We have a lot of testers around 177-179cm and they're often split between M and L based on preference.
Hi Bay, it's an XON side-entry cage. It worked fine for me with a 500ml bottle, but was a tight fit with a 750ml bottle. A side-entry is going to work much better than a regular one on this bike. Cheers!
The Trek bottle and Bontrager side load cage won’t work. The bottle sits too low and the neg chamber will rip a hole in the bottle. I haven’t found a good combo yet for my Rail 9 2021.
