Of course you can fight ghasts, the exp spawns from the ghast, mostly falling into lava. And for diamonds, you can put a hopper under it and mine it from above and away.

18:01 Gravel is wonderful, when you don't want them they appear and suffocate you and you throw them away by anger, but when you do want them, you spend 5+ hours mining and no gravel. Edit: I was also screaming at my screen because you needed to leave an empty block of dirt next to the pumpkins.

You can just shoot ghasts without getting their xp, because it will inevitably drop into lava or on a burning block anyway. Along with their loot.

Sheep are supposed to have 10 health, your fist is supposed to do 1 damage. In bedrock you can kill said sheep in 4 hits.

To get diamonds, you could’ve placed a hopper underneath the diamonds and mine it at a distance, then wait for the experience to despawn or you can place lava over the hopper to get rid of the experience quickly

You can break a furnace after it has smelted items to get the items out without gaining any xp. You can kill mobs by suffocating them with sand/gravel. You can push mobs off a cliff. You can burn mobs with lava or flint and steal. You can sheer sheep for their wool
