I LOVE these types of videos. You don't get to see this kind of filming tech regularly unless you are going out and looking for it, so getting a peek into the filming world while maintaining a realistic perspective of use case scenarios is awesome. Keep it up

I really liked the two shots of you combined. That was a VERY practical storyteller's use case vs just the timelapse &generic slide shots. Also MOAR JOEY!, More behind the scenes gear & stuff!

The two Joeys was awesome. I didn't realize it could be so exacting. I definitely couldn't build one that good. Reminds me of how they did the Dkystraflex camera system in Star Wars. Similar, not the same...

A few questions. 1. Can you mount proper tripods to it, some of that footage looked proper shaky and especially on the the dolly in. The feet you've got on there atm flexed visibly when moving the camera or even when you put your hand not he camera or slider. A good set of sticks would fix that issue. 2. Can you run it off V-lock batteries? i'd rather not be carrying around another battery pack and charging kit if possible 3. What kind of weight can it deal with? Are we talking DSLR's only or would a C300 be possible to run on it?

Does this setup allow for zoom/focus motors to be applied as well? Or do you need the cine system for that..?

That slider zoom shot with the mannequin head was really shaky... That really surprised me. It looked like the manual shot i did the other day with my Konova K2.

@@dariorotafoto9918 I don't even use my K2 slider anymore (and yes I have the flywheel setup too) because it is SO shaky 🤦‍♂️

@@dariorotafoto9918 maybe the k5 would be good, but in my use the K2 slider has been a very annoying experience 😞 I always have to use warp stabilizer and no matter what the start and end of every clip is wobbly because the chassis has too much flex.

its actually Kramer, Kessler was the prototype name and they just forgot to change it

Using two head ones and slider one from edelkrone can do something similar and is easily transported.

It's interesting to see behind the curtain and learn more about how things are done. Am I the only one who finds those slow pans during talking-head sequences annoying? I don't want something "more visually stimulating" when I'm supposed to be paying attention to what they're saying, it just leaves me distracted.

Hate to sound irritated but as usual, as with every other slider video out there, no mention of how much weight can be put on it before it starts to sag. Not the weight that mfg claims it can hold but how much it ACTUALLY takes to make it start sagging.

The cables are so messy and they can jam in the tracks. Old school hand controller is not open for future upgrades. It has not follow focus automatically(motorize). It's wiggling christ's sake. Edelkrone's slider plus+motion kit is just phenomenal.

I own a Higher end Kessler slider. They are rock solid and arguably more premium than Edelkrone or Dynamic Perception. The controller is fully App or laptop controlled, just not covered in this review. Similarly, there are Focus / Iris / Zoom motorisation options.

Only that Kessler second shooter will carry a bigger camera and is way better constructed. Don't get me wrong mate, I'm buying the sliderplus with all the motors but Kessler is more heavy production oriented than Edelkrone.
