Amen !!! God has been using me to Travail and Groan in the Spirit !! The Holy Spirit take over to Pray , to Warfare ! Thank you for the kind words! The best way to learn about the power of the Holy Spirit is to get to know HIM, to learn about HIM. Something I did when I was in seminary and was so hungry to learn about him was to look up verses about him and make a list of the attributes they showed up him. For example, he: teaches, guides, grieves, renews, leads, comforts, convicts, anoints... And then each day I'd pray for him to do a different on in my life. It was the beginning of really getting to know him and of having that close relationship with him. He will draw very close to you as you keep seeking him!
Testimony time : I had a miscarriage and was devastated, she would have been my 5th child. I experienced a strong attack of grief against me and no prayer of myself or others could shift it. One day, the grief was so crushing that I started to pray very fast in tongues, in a bent position, with leaning forward, holding on to the work surface of the kitchen, like if I was travailling. It carried on for awhile (maybe 10mns) and suddenly I was free. I was emotionally healed completely and all grief was gone. Tongue is powerful and Kevin Zadai was shown by Jesus in heaven that it is the equivalent of a nuclear bomb in the spiritual world. He told him to focus on the devastating ripple and powerful air blast at ground level where the demons were. They were all obliterated by that blast.

How pleasing it was in the sight of the Lord, that you turned to Him in the midst of your pain; oh that we would do that more, and more quickly! And what a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit--so wonderful how He set you free! The day I received the gift of tongues after I had been semi-pleading with Jesus to give the gift to me if it was from him but immediately afterwards I would say but if it’s not from you I don’t want it. I would repeat that to him multiple times at night I think over a two month period of time possibly. I woke up on Easter Sunday morning that year hearing a language in my head that I didn’t recognize and I thought I was dreaming. When I opened my eyes I was still hearing it, and knew I was not dreaming and when I opened my mouth it just flowed. I didn’t know what to do with it so I think it might’ve gone on for a day or two off and on but it stopped after that. Now, maybe 15 years later I am in a long-term depression that I cannot get out of and sleeping my life away because I can’t seem to get away from this thing no matter what I do. I really need prayer and help. I need help. I just don’t have the physical or emotional strength to fight this. I don’t know what to do. It’s more than I can handle and I am hating my life and am so down. It’s not supposed to be this way.

Discernment is key when encountering the spiritual realm: being able to recognize the Holy Spirit versus what is false. Gifts that are from the Holy Spirit are good and brings us life; counterfeit experiences, demonic tongues, etc. bring bondage, death, destruction. Awesome testimony. Totally agree with you in terms of experiences, but too far north is south. All experiences must be supported by Scripture because deception is such a real tool used by the enemy. I know you said that but I wanted to emphasize this point because the devil counterfeits moves of the Holy Spirit. Also, the Holy Spirit is a gentleman, he doesn't force so I assume that when you said you couldn't stop speaking in the special tongue that you could stop but felt a huge urge or inclination not to. This has also happened to me, I knew I could stop but knew that I shouldn't and allowed the Holy Spirit to lead completely. Thank you for sharing

I love your warning too: the Bible should always be our barometer to discern counterfeit from truth in our experiences and walk with the Lord. My dear beloved sisters . Yes scriptures are our foundation we need to let the Ministry of the Holy Spirit bring revelation of the living word . The Bible is still lacking what the canon decided to remove and keep from the public . Jesus Christ miracles were strange and that will be in today’s word qualified occultic. The Church is too afraid to be deceived that we end up deceived by walking the Christian life of the dead letters mostly here in the west . I will definitely pray for you! I know it can be disheartening when we really desire a gift and haven't yet received it. Tongues can really make people feel that way, because it is so elevated in the church in certain denominations. A verse that helped me, and still helps me as I walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, is 1 Corinthians 14:12. Read it in context of the whole chapter! Paul writes it to the church in Corinth, reminding them that in their strong desire to see the Holy Spirit manifest through the gifts (especially tongues) that the posture of heart and purpose of the gifts is first and foremost to love others. Every gift is to be an outflow to meet the needs of those the Lord has put in our lives. Whatever gift(s) you currently have, the Holy Spirit wants to use them right now to encourage others!
Hello can i ask a question? When me and my daugthers starting praying in tounges we feel choking, cant breath. Dont know why and a lot od destruction.. And when I have a discomfort feeling, when i startes to pray in tongues it is getting worst. I have a medical issue. The doctors report is not te final word even they told cervical cancer to me. In Jesus name. I Am Healed.

What a load of nonsense. Babbling nonsense doesn't challenge demons. If it did it would have been mentioned in Ephesians where we are taught by the Holy Spirit about spiritual warfare. You are absolutely correct that our experiences should align with scripture; scripture helps us discern both our experiences and how the Lord desires to interact with us as believers. Here are some things the Bible teaches: Instead of tongues being “babbling nonsense” it 1) is a language that can be interpreted (1 Cor. 12:10; 1 Cor. 14:10-13), 3) is a gift (1 Cor. 12:10), is given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11), 5) empowers believers (1 Cor. 12:6&11), 6) builds up the individual (1 Cor. 14:4) & the church when interpreted (1 Cor. 14:5), is one way to “pray in the Spirit” (1 Cor. 14:15), and can be spoken or sung (1 Cor. 14:15). It is listed with the armor of God (Eph. 6:18) to empower us in spiritual warfare (Eph. 6:10-11), and is the piece that we are told to use “at all times.” Demons and angels are real (ex. Eph. 6:10-12), and these beings of the spiritual realm can absolutely enter a building/room/place (ex. Acts 12). There are many passages on this topic, I’m just putting a few here.
