nice video, i believe the Ryzen 7 5825U has be replaced by the Ryzen 7 7730u, couldn't find any posts about it but found this great video. nice to see laptops with u processors able to run games
🙂 Thanks for the video, I have a similar chip in my HP Netbook and I found Cyberpunk to run just about the same as well. It's crazy that u can get this kind of performance with integrated graphics in a 13.3 inch netbook. The netbook format was pricey at the time and this chip was not available yet in larger more affordable laptops such as yours. But this year I noticed that u can get it in a more standard 15.6 size laptop plus the price has come down a bit to around 500 bucks. Plus I imagine there might be a new model chip that runs similar. But yeah this could be used as a gaming pc on the go when u travel.
Bro really wish to try the new sets of ryzen integrated gpu particularly the 680m. If we can game on integrated graphics so well it would be impressive because you dont actually need to plug in power to get the best performance
@@st1fish You say it isn't that good? Can you even compare it to the integrated graphics of old or the current iris xe intel integrated graphics? Be sure what you say
@@st1fish you sounds like that one guy who not satisfied gaming unless its 120 fps ultra settings on 4K.. for me, nvidia gt 620m user, if the game can even reach 50fps/30fps with medium graphics in 480p/720p, its already super good..
No more videos. I really liked them very much. Informative, well produced and better than the big tech RU-vidrs. What happened? I can imagine, that it is a lot of work to produce those videos
I bought my mom and girlfriend each one of these, so I was curious.... They don't do too bad, really.... there's noticeable tearing in Cyberpunk and GTA5 but the FPS is decent for an APU. Too bad it doesn't have a FreeSync display. Still kicking myself for not picking one of these up for myself at $340 on Amazon before they sold out, they punch WAY above their price class.
Hello. What about throttling? Typically, in budget laptops, manufacturers limit the processor TDP to 15 W. At first it works for a few minutes without TDP limitation, but then the performance drops sharply. How did you conduct your tests? Is this the beginning of the game or long-term testing?
@@MikBorkenWhat StudyProf means is that when you start a game your cpu will use 25w or more and as he described it falls down to 15w gradualy, i've seen it go way below 15w and stay low.
I test long term initially with benchmarks to see if it can maintain its TDP. Once it does with a benchmark on loop, then I know it will be fine with any game. That's why I don't usually increase TDP from default to get better benchmark results, cause that would be unrealistic if the laptop can't maintain it. Which they usually can't without an external cooler.
hello; Thank you very much for the video, very good. I have that processor in my PC and I want to buy the GTA5 but I don't know if it handles it correctly, in the video it looks a little blurred but I don't know if it is the camera or the PC, if you answer me I would greatly appreciate it.
dk if you still need this information. all these chips have very similar performance but 5825u & 7730 general also consume less power. All these chips are very close though, so in terms of raw performance you can't really go wrong with any of them. It's probably best just to pick the laptop that suits you best, espcially because the model you get will impact performance & battery life more than switching between the CPUs listed
yo no tengo ese portatil pero tengo una dell inspiron 15 con los mismos specs y se calienta bastante, jugando gears of war 5 me da 60 fps a 768p y la temperatura es como de 86 y con forza horizon 5 alcance una maxima temperatura de 92

The 8GB of RAM makes a big difference, especially the speed of the RAM, and if its running in dual channel. This laptop is 16GB running at 3200 and in dual channel. Check out this video to see how big the difference can be. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X07CSY7ObnA.html
i have a ryzen 7 5825u on a hp pavilion 15 laptop however on roblox i think the cpu is the bottleneck since it lags for like 10 seconds every 2 minutes or so and returns to normal playable experience and i think its because of the tdp (15w). whenever it dips to like 5w while playing roblox it just sucks to play the game. how can i make this better? i did use amd apu tuning utility and run the benchmarks, but I think it may be due to the fact that the 5825u does not have a configurable tdp, hence amd does not let the user change the tdp and rather lets the software be adaptive instead of letting us choose the tdp. what do you think?
yo bro. i just bought this same laptop with 8gb ram. i’m planning to upgrade it to 16gb, will it increase the smoothness of the game? thanks in advance
