Thanks brother glad you enjoy the content. Your gonna absolutely love the v2 it's definitely boss. The next video should be right up your ally. I've upgraded the esc but there's alot of free mods and hacks throughout the video that should help you the your new ride

Sir you are correct. 4 boats with s/c controllers. All have had problems. Installed 1 ose s/c and it fixed my problem. Wife is going to be pissed. Going to order 3 more. I'm blaming you. lol. Thanks for the info.

Great work mate,, thanks for the great videos. Nearly finished my thunder tiger atlantic and because of you it's come out perfect. Few small things to do and it's ready for the maiden . Should be great boat and fast on 6s , sonic wake looks great with that lid and you saved us a lot running this test.

Great video mate!! Ive been on a prop buying binge..so good experimenting with different props. See what they do, how they react in the boat. But as you say, so much to do with the battery pairing to a prop. So many variables, can drive you crazy!! Haha

Esc on off switch took a shit on the v2 after a week, under warranty but I bought the smart 160 amp esc cant wait.

Awesome! Great video, and like you said bigger pond and maybe some adjustments in between prop changes for each prop you can get some more speed but some are just a better upgrade over stock & get you some more mile an hour for a bigger smile on the face ! And I agree I think the white lid kind of looks cool with the decals on it

Not a fan of cavitation at all..watched a couple high high pitch ox prop demos...I just love power out of the hole with good top speed also..seems with 4s 1900kv my best options are somewhere in 47 to 50mm 1.4 pitch range...I will pick up some cf props from off shore to test..once I am happy I can find a similar size metal prop...I will also try my 42 metal I have again using my new batteries...thanks for sharing..

@@IRONCLADRC I ran a 47mm 1.4 for 5min yesterday ..I only run 4s..everything was cool my 180 amp esc had no heat at all...I will test my new batts today with the props I have and see what happens...thanks

@@IRONCLADRC just got back testing octura x442..very close to performance I am looking for on 6500mahs 90c 4s ..maybe 42-44mph with decent takeoffs..batts and motor around 100 degrees esc .I will test a couple more props tomorrow...did have to swim,since my mc did a triple flip trying to jump some waves..boat stay bone dry though.🙂

Great video bro. I still alittle unclear on the three blade prop. I thought they were quicker to come on plane but I guess this isn’t true for all 3 blade props

Yea the silver one is 1.4pitch the green one is 1.4 pitch same size. (42mm). The green one is basically a high lift prop Designed for top speed. The silver one is low lift with alot more blade area, basically giving it more low end torq. It's like an rc car the green one is a big pinion the silver one is a small pinion gear. Hope that helps

Nice , 55 mph was great, so what prop should I try on mine for speed run I have about 100 plus yards to start and stop, and does the esc shit down if it gets to hot and come back to life ?

Yea it's a load protection type deal. For top speed and good Temps I recommend the 4519 for the v2. I had 62 mph with the blue 4519 oxidean prop

You need a jumper loop www.horizonhobby.com/product/loop-connector-ic5/ARA390292.html All you do is plug it into one of the connectors and the battery goes into the other

I'd go with a 4519 oxidean Marine Prop. Good topend & low end take off with low temps

Personally, the green 3 blade didnt perform that good, too low acceleration, even when you had speed on the boat, the silver the other hand was very nice, and responsive :) Red one aswell was good. ps. i belived we males liked it wet :P hehe

42 1.6 (3) Is a high speed lifting prop the boat needs to be tuned in for the best performance. You right about the low end take off not quite there but high end speed she's on the money, it's a good upgrade prop. The silver 3 blade is awesome but the Temps were high. 160 170deg

There's not enough room on the shaft for 2 props. I've had other viewers ask that same question. I have a couple small props I could possibly try on it one day? 🤔

1st- i wish you would do your testing in a larger lake....I have tired a few of these 3 bladed props that Bill said it would run my blackjack42 a lot faster.lol. Those props are junk from my personal experience trying to run a red one on BJ42.. 👎👎

I'm gonna do my testing right where I'm at, I go to a large body of water every now and again.. the RED high rake prop is a terrible choice for the Blackjack 42, terrible I've had good experience with a couple of his props not all of his props
