Hey Evan Katelyn love this video I know this is an uncut but I thought i might want to let you know i am epileptic and usually lights don't affect me but that glitter paper really messed with my head I think you should put a warning in the beginning of the video nothing serious happened I'm alright but if there's one there might be others

I think one little upgrade, in the jewelry making section of the craft store you can find like tear drop shaped crystal beads, I think they would work pretty good in place of the water drop stickers. Either way, it's soooo CUTE!

I was there for the original twitch stream yesterday, but I was half asleep (it was past midnight where I live) so I kind of thought the entire stream was a sleep hallucination lol. Glad to know it was really and as strange as I remember! Cloudia supremacy!

I made a floodle with my little cousin some 5 years ago for her to take to a kindergarten fair thing (the assignment was to “make a cloud” and we went overboard). I bought different beads and string to be the rain and we spent a whole weekend making it. And when the day came… she didn’t go ¬¬'

i had that dyi kit and my leds had issues such as it would randomly start to flash and at one point it switched to red and would not change. also the glue did not stick well to the cotton.

i love the use of dichroic film for the rain drops, since I realized rain drops display all the colors as they fall when I was tripping on magic mushies. 🌈🌧☔

I bought a kit from Amazon for $10 and it included a hot glue gun and glue sticks. As well as the lights/raindrops/stickers/ fluff and dome. Pretty nice and turned out great!!

So not sure, I don't see that you've done it, but have you tried needle felting with kitty fur? Maybe... A hat or a mini version of her? Fun fact: Chiengora is a type of "wool" made from dog fur, while Catgora is made from cat fur! Both are preferably made with the soft plushy undercoat from grooming.

I used to be a department manager for a Crafts section of a store... And stocking those bottles of glue, they would occasionally leak like that as they came to us (not quite as much)... But that glue that leaked and dried was soooo satisfying to play with! 😂

Comment about the Joob lantern: I have a cat that looks about as fluffy as her. My family made a little wig for a cat cowboy hat with his fur. Collection took about 2 weeks. If Joob has seasonal shedding it might just take a few months in spring and summer. You'll 100% become crazy cat people, but it's possible.

I agree. I love both Halloween and Christmas, but it is so weird to see Rudolph and Santa standing next to tombstones, fog machines, and giant spiders in the stores. They kind of don't mesh so great.

I mean, there was someone on tiktok who made their cat's hair into yarn and knitted it into a pot holder or something, so it's possible to make stuff w/ at hair; it'd just take a lot of gathering and then processing.

Something similar to the in-line switches that you guys might like is smart plugs. I have some Kasa brand ones (I think Amazon has sales on multipacks occasionally). So you plug whatever into it and then they can be turned on/off with a voice command to your smart assistant (we use Google, but I think they work with a few others), through an app, or by pressing the button on the side of the plug.

Craft room floor covering idea. Get some old carpet samples from a carpet store, and make a patchwork rug. I knew a family carpet store that sold their old carpet samples for like $1 each. They also make decent car floor mats.

The worst thing that can happen with a sewing machine is stabbing your self ( been there done that). But with a saw and word working tools your whole arm could be gone real quick

I used to work with industrial embroidery machines. Nothing like seeing someone who reached in to grab a loose thread, and then get a sewing needle through their finger. It pierced all the way through the nail and bone. Luckily the thread break detector went off and stopped the machine. 6-700 stitches a minute would have shaken it up pretty bad, since the needle was still attached to the machine. On a home machine not as much room between the presser foot and the plate. I’d be more worried about just doing crooked messy stitching than an injury. I think a broken needle or getting your fingers pinched is the worst I’d expect.

Thinking about Halloween stuff vs Christmas stuff in stores, 2 weeks ago I was looking for black fake flowers for a cosplay and all the Halloween stuff was basically gone from 3 stores. And target never seemed to have that much stuff so I can't figure out if it's covid, everyone's super excited for Halloween, supply chain issues or what.

You should get those colorful EVA foam floor tiles! They'd be pretty easy to replace every now and then. ( Yes they also make black ones, but more color the better in my opinion.)

I would use a mix of pillow stuffing and cotton balls with a mix of elmers glue and water in a spray bottle to spray on the lantern to make your own cloud lantern light

I think when it gets to a point where you have to start making room for new projects you should hold a little auction of projects 😌 They get new homes, you get more space, maybe you give a portion of proceeds to charity or use it to fund next exciting project! But I also concede if it had been me I would have 100% kept everything and lived in an ever growing pile of stuff I am too attached to to part with.. 🧐

1:41:50 recalling my encounters of artificial fog in childhood, it always had a very specific scent that was really unpleasant to me. Definitely not cotton candy, sort of like a chemical sweet-ish smell. Maybe that’s just how cotton candy smells in America lol

They may have just used an artificial cotton candy smell which if someone uses too much it smells like ass. Cotton candy itself doesn’t smell that bad in America lmao since it’s just caramelized sugar with vanilla added sometimes lmao. You can always tell when a cotton candy smell is artificial though.

lol beginning of episode Evan: we have like 5 glue sticks, we're good.. Katelyn: you go through them really fast bebe End of episode Evan: we've used almost all the glue :o ... Lol I was like 5 is not a lot... I have Hot glued twine to an amazon box and it took like 20 glue sticks( ran out, went out and bought the 1oo pack) and the box itself was like #4.

I've seen a couple like "make your own!" of cloud lanterns that are literally just what yall did... I'm sure you've seen them, how do you feel about them? On one hand, I'd be glad people enjoy it but on the other, I'd be upset about the lack of credit. Just curious about what you think bc that's all that matters (not that you could really, do much about them either way but still)

Get a cheap bed sheet and put on top of the carpet when you know you are doing messy activities. Keep the carpet and the sheet won’t mess with your sound. If the sheet gets dirty, wash it or throw it away.
