@@savagemeowmeow8680 yup..we don't need to buy new gadgets for every single thing...we called ourselves smart generation but our ancestors are way more smart.
@@nobody_knows536 as an indian i was looking for this discussion.. a specific gadget for a specific purpose doesn't make sense.. it just takes up space... a coffee maker, a toaster and now popcorn maker..
@@nilanjasa007 yes I do XD I mean who doesnt? I was just stating the fact that its quite unpractical too buy a thing for making popcorn plus the kernels lol
@@zechariahdavid5199 I’m not sure but probably because if you put it on the lid it will drizzle on the popcorn but if you put it in the bowl it will just get the butter on the middle instead of it all over the popcorn maybe?
To anyone who thinks you need to buy stuff to make popcorn at home, YPU DON'T. Use any pan you have to make it at home Recipe : Heat oil/butter in the pot, then when it heats put anything herb you want for flavour. Add popcorn kernels to it.. Cover it now with a easily removable lid.. Then let the popcorn start popping in ghe pot.. After it starts, in a minute or 2 the popping stops.. At this time turn off your heat.. Remove the lid.. Tadada your popcorn is ready.. My Indian self loves to sprinkle chat masala over them for the extra kick. The amount of butter used is proportional to corn kernels you use.. Just make sure that the butter coats the corn kernels for popcorn to pop. And Idk if you guys have yellow popcorn or white but here we prefer yellow using a 1/8th tablespoon tumeric in hot butter
@I eat worms some people don't wanna deal with the fire or they're living in a dorm that doesn't allow cooking. So many reasons as to why someone would want another gadget to make popcorn. Not implying that this gadget is good by any means.

There’s a brand that has seasonings that I use I got it in Walmart it has withe cheese butter and chess that brand is kernel seasoning and it as variety of flavors
"oh my god, the butter melted from the heat" yeah that's kinda what butter does overall though, this product looks really interesting, might giv eit a try
i just found out about this a few weeks ago. i dont know why it took my 44 years to discover that you can just use a brown paper lunch bag! it seriously baffles me that i never knew this. SO much easier
I just make mine in a brown paper bag, have you ever tried that? Than you can just pour melted butter in the bag n shake or dump into bowl n but butter on
Anyone else still have those old plastic ones with the white lid from the 2000s?? 😂 Lid is beige and the bowl is cracked but still makes the best popcorn ever! 💯
You can put some water in it and dissolve your salt for a perfect distribution. No oil needed. I love my popcorn maker! There's a very fine line between many unpoped kernels and burnt + bitter popcorn though.
I bought one of these at Walmart. Did not work with a crap. I then went and bought an old fashioned popcorn popper from Amazon. It works wonderful and I can make large batches at a time. It's just great
The reason why there is butter on all of the popcorn is that the kernel Takes longer to turn in to a popcorn than the butter melting so the butter melted on all of the kernel then when it turned into a popcorn
