Interesting, but I have worked a lot with alligator. Never managed to be profitable (4H). I don't think there was a lot of difference, but I think that it was better to trade with the 200 EMA. As soon as markets stop trending there are a lot of false signals. More than other indicators. Also. Often I saw 5 green candles after one another, then comes the signal. What happens after that? A pullback, and your stop is hit. I tested it with Awesome zero crossline at the same time. Awesome almost always first. It might be bullshit, but it seemed to win the most with 3 powerful bullish candles, then 2 weaker bearish ones. After that the trade often went in the right direction.
Thank you for sharing your insights! Trading can be quite challenging, especially with indicators that can give mixed signals. It's great to hear about your experiences with the Alligator and 200 EMA. Continuous testing and adapting strategies is key in this game!
