When you are first setting up a drive, it is best to do some quick tests to make sure everything is working, we show how to use Rockwell Automation's Connect Components Workbench to do this.
Through the video, we show the important wiring diagram that is needed for setting up the Safe-Off & the Stop bit logic needed for this test.
Here is a link for the PDF:

I have a control panel in the field with start stop buttons for several 525 drives. I am also connecting up the drives to ethernet. I am putting a loc/rem switch on screen so they can change drive states from the HMI and after so long it will default back to the field panel. I am using dig input 2 as my remote input switch to ethernet. I see that there are 3 levels of start stop paremeters so my question would be why can I not use a ethernet command to switch from loc to rem rather than a hardwired input on the drive? and how would you switch between the 3 differant drive start paremeters like from the ethernet to the terminal board and the fronnt keys? Thanks

Using the PLC program to control the drives & use the switches for remote or non remote control be in the PLC logic to control an output to the drives to control them.

Can I use octo output for stop push button for power flex 525 drive? And also want to know that is it 24V DC only? Or I can use it for 230v AC circuit.

When it comes to drive controls, it depends on the design on the drive & the design of the system for stop/start controls. Also depends on what model of the Powerflex 525 you have. I would recommend that you read the manual

@@ShaneWelcher @Shane Welcher I have gone through manual but there is nothing specifically mentioned in the manual for octo output ,only 24V DC written nearby output pin 17 (octo output).

@@harshshah5457 If the drive you ordered says use 24v then use that. Do not use mixed voltage. 99% of see rive input controls are 24vdc so if you need to control it with 230vac then add a relay
