If you use a spray Lacquer (not varnish) you WILL get STUNNING shine( if you use GLOSS, you can use SEMI Gloss, or satin) it WILL be stunning AND the best part IT WILL protect your guitar or whatever you piece you work on! Spray with MORE than 2 coats--- (very, very thin spray) just spray in ONE SMOOTH PASS, do NOT worry if you miss spots-- just Spray that on the next passes! NEVER, EVER hold the spray can still-- keep moving! Another HUGE bonus; if you KEEP that smooth moving spray technique-- the LACQUER WILL --SELF LEVEL( varnish might not, but can self level- not as guaranteed as lacquer)! This is A SERIOUS durable top coat, varnish also take many days to REALLY-- CURE-- good quality lacquer-- is seriously done in less than 30 minutes! Lacquer ALSO gets a HARDER shine, over DAYS and you don't need to do ANYTHING, but you can wipe it down with a micro fiber towel- it really gets that hard beautiful finish!
Great video, thanks. Do you think there would be a big difference btween using acrylic with alcohol versus water ... difference in penetration or other outcome?
