I agree! making such a huge deal over socks and most do come with those plastic tags. This is my first video of hers and I don't know her but she came off like shes too good for the dollar store
@@armaniharris8865 it is thicker but applesauce is made up of mostly water. It also would leak. Those containers, given that they came with a spoon, were not only intended for solid snacks.
Also - you know I love you when I don’t have a kid, am not pregnant, am not even close to being pregnant, and I still watch all your videos on baby. LOVE YOU.
Unfortunately coupons and sales aren’t always available when you need them. I have a lot of stuff from dollar tree that has out lasted Target products. Including Dishes, mugs, utensils (Betty Crocker brand), hair accessories and brushes. My list goes in but who wants to read a novella on RU-vid
She's not doing it "just for fun" If you watch her channel you might know a little more about her, also her back ground. Its about saving money with quality products you can find too at the dollar tree. Dont be quick to judge.
I just wanted to let you know that I love how you film your trip and trial by showing one item at a time at home, trying it out and showing the other options or styles in that item at the Dollar tree. It's actually really helpful , comprehensive and makes sense. I too love the travel size wipes, you get more than other travel size wipes in a pack that I've seen at Target and they are name brand and 1.00!!
If you use the boogie wipes, which are awesome!! They are cheaper to order a case from the Dollar Tree than they are on Amazon no matter the quantity you order.
My late husband and I were not blessed with children, and I'm grandma age now. I love your video you and Miles are so cute. Make sure those plug protectors don't come out easily.
So this video is older but I don’t understand about the poop bags. You complained they were free and then complained when they were in the box?? What did you want 😂😂😂
I'm a postpartum doula, and so many families I've worked with have that same jungle jumper because babies LOVE it. I even worked with a set of twins and they had two different jumpers, and the babies would get upset if they weren't in the jungle one😂 Clients who get more of the minimalist/plain jumpers, their babies (from my experience, obviously not a hard rule) dont seem to enjoy being in the jumper as much as when it's a big colorful one. It may not be the cutest, but babies sure are cute IN it❤️
I’m being induced on the 19th! With my second child And I’m watching all these baby videos because it’s been so long since I’ve had an infant! Thank you for this video
They have another bottle washer at the dollar tree that has a sponge on top also you can spin it so it is easier to use. See if you can find that type cuz they are awesome.
For disposable diaper bags, throw a roll of your dogs poop bags in your diaper bag!! that's what i've used when I needed to have a "trash bag" on hand-- and they're pretty compact!
"Wow, they fit... Shocking!" ...get it? Cuz they are supposed to prevent shocks, so not shocking I guess? Either way it made me giggle... I'm sorry, I'm done.
You can get the rolls of doggy do do bags at Dollar Tree (4 rolls for $1), and they have a little refillable plastic holder thing that can clip right on to your diaper bag.
I am not one to comment over a random RU-vid baby, but your baby has brought me so much joy! You are an amazing Mommy and it was a pleasure watching this video 😊
I did the same thing you did replacing my wipe case is my on the go changing station and the wipe case I put those cheapo diaper trash bags in so I always had a few in the bottom of my bag :-) hope this helps someone and buy a few glass jars for baby food and rinse them out and use them for snacks is another hack. Also your son is the cutest little thing ever!!!
I love dollar tree. They actually have quite a few items made in the U.S. That is always my deciding factor when it comes to baby/dog items from dollar tree.
@@athenalima1619 for most people yes. But my son was allergic to that brand. I bought those diapers once and he broke out in a rash. And i was one of those moms that was in top of diaper changes. And with the wipes he broke out in his face and hands after I wiped him off. He was also allergic to Wal-Mart brand. I never tried Meijer brand because I figured he would be allergic. Only brand that worked for him was pampers and huggies.
We just us the doggy poop bags from dollar tree for the dirty diapers. They are great size and hold in the smell well, plus they come in a little roll so they fit in your diaper bag well.
I picked up a sesame street bottle brush and it swivels at the top and thankfully has more bristles on the top. I normally use the containers for Cheerios, goldfish, dry snacks. ☺️ I appreciate your input because as a mom I try to save some money when I can I'm just glad to feel validated, like I'm not the only mom who shops at Dollar Tree lol!
Oh, and the baby hand scrub animal towels are awesome! The plain square towels are as flimsy/low scrub capability as any cheap brand elsewhere. I actually save those for reusable wipes and use the animal puppet scrub and some more textured thicker wash clothes from adult section at Dollar tree.
I use all of those! My baby girl has the soccer socks :) Yes hit or miss on socks. Some just don't have tight enough elastic to hold better but then again my girl slides them off when laying down even the nice elastic ones! Yes, the brush bristles start to permanently bend easier since there's not as many bristles scrunched together and they're thin. But I love the thin part of hard to reach areas. Diaper bags are great. I actually interchange those and the dollar tree dog baggies for both her diapers and dog poops. Win win while going on walks with both of them!i also reuse grocery bags so I can hold multiple dog poops or multiple diaper changes....or to hold poopy clothes... The containers are great to use at home but not secure enough enough going out unless they're in a section of a bag or lunch box where for sure they will be upright. I wont take them out until she's old enough for snacks like crackers and nuts... it's held up through many cleanings but haven't tried in dishwasher yet. If I take baby food on an outing, it goes in a glass baby food jar. The spoon has held up in the dishwasher. Works fine but has hurt her new teeth/gums when she bites down on it so I need to be all stealthy about it. Haha They have baby oil and diaper cream which I haven't tried but same generic ingredients as elsewhere. Hilarious timing how long baby socks stay on! Wont last long for any kicker! If they don't tie or snap or velcro, girl is sliding them off at some point! Teething toys and plastic toys work great along with binkys from dollar tree! Also, when dollar tree has coconut oil I stock up!! Sh*t's expensive elsewhere other than in bulk!
I don't understand why the comments are all mostly mean. If you don't like the video, especially starting with the first item, then don't watch it just scroll on! I'm sorry Kallie, I hate when people are so mean! I loved your video!
For the bags for diapers, what I did for the diaper bag for my grandkids, instead of the bags you got, I went over to the pet section and got the bags for dog poop. It comes with a hard plastic holder with a clip that can clip to the diaper bag. It has 3-4 rolls of bags (15-25 bags per roll).
My boys hated shoes/socks well into toddler ages. We live in Louisiana, so much of the year it didn't matter. But even we get winter, and we've be, say, at Walmart, and they'd whip off their socks and be all barefoot and the maw maws (Cajun for grandmother) would come by me and fuss me no end about why my baby had no shoes in this weather! I'd just pull socks out of my coat pocket and say that they started out with them, I swear! LOL
Snack holder not a liquid holder. I just bought my son that same rattle this weekend. The wipe holders and the dove baby wash they sell are my favorite. Tip to toe baby wash at Walmart is like 6.78 I get it for 1$. Pfft works for me. He’s a cutie by the way 😍
Great vid. As a mom that had to shop at Wal-Mart and DT for my first baby they have good affordable stuff, stuff that was cheap like the bottle cleaner and bottles of just skip them and get them at Wal-Mart cause it will still be affordable and better quality. But lately DT has been on point with new items. Like huggies swimming diapers 2 for $1, bandana bids, and licenced character socks😀
Like this video. But i gotta say, i used those snack containers for months and months and they held up really well.. Granted, i didn't use them for liquids, but i packed my daughter's cheerios, crackers, puffs, cut up fruits, a ton of different snacks...
We have the little containers (ours have foxes on the top - cute!) and I found them to be a great size for starting purées/solids when my babes was just little and they’re literally eating a few tablespoons of something. They’ve held up really well considering they were .50 each, which was a surprise to me as well.
Dirty diaper bag hack: I use the dog poop bags from the dollar tree. They come in 3 rolls of at least 30 each all of $1. They usually come with or have near by the bag roll holder that clips on to things as well.
You could put the bags in a ziplock bag. I really like the arm & hammer bags that come w the munchkin dispenser. The dispenser is convenient & the bags smell really nice. I had tried that bottle brush as well & was not a fan. I felt like it was falling apart the first time I used it. I bought those same booties just to match a camo shirt we got, but its def cheaper to buy the packs of socks. Loved your video!
I'd love to see more videos about being a new mom. I just had a baby as well. Would love to see what baby products you use on a regular basis for Miles
Aw my daughter had that same exact bald patch in the same spot. It just went away recently & shes 15 months now. It was so cute lol. Makes them look like little old people. Your baby is sooo freaking cute 😊💕💕💕
For my daughter's diaper disposal bags, dollar tree has these sented bags that come in a roll and come in 3 colors. You get more bags for the money. They are pretty thin but still good for the price.
I fold up one or two of the diaper trash bags in my diaper changing kit (like you have.) Then I just unfold and use as needed. The snack containers worked great for homemade baby food and small snacks. And the bottle brushes don't work that well compared to the thicker ones.
I use the the Sesame Street pink bottle of baby lotion to moisturize my skin daily. It even comes in a travel size that you can throw in your purse when on the go. I don’t know, even though it’s intended for baby’s skin, it is the only lotion that I have ever used that doesn’t dry out my skin. The baby powder scent is a plus because it reminds me of the Loves Baby Soft perfume :)
For the disposable diaper bags...skip them and get the roll of dog poo bags! They come in a dispenser with extra refill rolls for when you run out! I clip them on my diaper bag!!! 😃
My son is almost 7 months old and he loves his sesame Street toy from the dollar tree. I do use the snack container for baby food, the lids aren't very good but it works if I'm just putting it in the fridge. I wouldn't recommend putting it in the diaper bag.
I got those snack containers when my almost 10 year old was a baby and I still use them in his lunchbox. There’s no picture on it anymore, but it still does the job. 😂
I thought the diaper trash bags are a great deal! Best price I’ve seen anywhere, even beats dog poop bags lol. My son is almost 2 and I haven’t even used up one pack yet. They seem thin but does the job very well, holds even wet cloth diapers without breaking.
I grab the doggy poop bags 80 for $1 instead of regular ones for baby’s so much better and there rolled up and you can get little containers to hold it into
I know it's not a Dollar tree thing, but you can get those diaper trashbags in the pet section from Ikea for about a Dollar! They are on a roll which you can put in a dispenser!
Love those baggies I’ve used them for two kids now they really come in handy if the baby has a blowout I put soiled clothes in there but girl idk you must have gotten a bad batch of those containers because i used them every day multiple times a day and I use them for baby oatmeal for my daughter when she was a baby so almost 3 years ago and I still have them my son doesn’t need them right now he wasn’t an oatmeal eater but those things were a lifesaver for my daughter and are amazing so are The disposable bibs and the disposable placemats they are Lifesavers I can’t even tell you how many times in the last three years I have used those! And that baby toy was one of both of my kids favorite toys! Crazy! They have so many different toys and they preferred that over a lot of them. Plus they have a big pack of those plastic spoons they were Lifesavers because even though they were take and toss ones I used them almost every day and I still have them 3 years later you get a huge thing of like 10 or something for $1
