I'm thinking to try a powersoft Q3002 4ch amp for my top end. I have 13x 1" compression drivers per side. Currently using a QSC CX404 but it's not really 2 ohm stable. Not such an issue driving just 1" compression drivers though. For bass i use 2x MC2 T2000 with the old linear power supplies! Heavy but phat and reliable. I used to use Lab's fp6400 and QSC PL6 but the power supplies keep blowing!
Thanks for that demonstration it was very informative and totally help me to make a decision to seek out the Ad42. I'm not just trying to sound loud I'm really trying to get the deeper low bottom in, I respect the power soft but I agree with the lady I too always felt that the tone was too high for true bass and the base reflect sounds responded too fast for real ground shaking sub bass! It's more like a punch base then earthquaking base.
Thanx for sharing videos. Why don't you make measurements using pink noise & software like smaart? Or even some smartphone app's can do good measurement job. That can up you channel on next level
I run the K10’s. Been very happy with them. The K20 is the same amp with a unlock card boosting it 6,000 watts. At full load and low Herts it will run out of steam. Where as the K10 can maintain rated power. But I also only do live sound production “ Bands” the low end is not as continuous. Thanks for the video. The other amps look promising I may have to try one. The Powersoft amps are very pricey.
Hello, I have used the Ad442, I am just about to buy an amplifier but I am still undecided if the ad430 or the ad442, I would like to know your opinion about it.
I am an importer of Admark Audio here in Nigeria. ADMARK is doing great in amplifiers and line array speakers. Their Ad422 is one of the beat 4 channels amplifiers.
greetings, how good was the amplifier for you, the power quality and is it worth buying that amplifier, Admark models how long have you been using it, have you had any failures
Did you know that the bottle testing for bass is a old school thing, and it is very accurate, if the bass is right, the bottle will stay there all night and day with out falling off, if it falls off the bass needs to be tuned correctly, just a pointer
Bass that's out of sync will need phase correction. Perfect bass will not only cause a bottle to fall but will cause humans to fall also. These amps have circuits built in that create the appearance of a warmer bass tone. Not puchy as the old 5000 crowns.
The powersoft k20 is more expensive but you have to remember is programmed amplifier DSP and is capable of doing way more, the Powersoft x4 and 8 are a step up again from the k20.
@@JoshL1976 ,,for me,,the opposite..did not rate the x series for tone..the x series has much better sounding tone and roll off..just my opinion..bless up
This is what I have 18nlw9602 I have 12 Mini Scoops I was very surprised with the bass that was coming out of the 18 sound specker I used it in bridge mode which give me more than enough power to run three of my mini scoops on each channel in bridge mode I am having lots of fun playing them Minis against hog scoops and belive it or not I am going them hogs scoops hell and I am winning because the mini scoops has a larger chamber fo my 18nlw9601 to get the air it neededs to hit harder I tryed the 18nlw9601 in the hogs scoop they sounded good but when I put them in a Mini Scoop they played even harder I was shocked very Yes I was using a genorator 35 kw now I am going to build another 12 which will give me a total of 24 dont need no more than that I am happy I all so wanted to let you guys know 18nlw9601 4 is a 4 ohms specker which hits harder and it delivers the TKO Punch .....
@@jcruiz49 Now the K20 is better built and more reliable but the AD 42 definitely does a great job at a lesser price. Just make sure you test it as soon as you get it.
