The exchange player bit you did is different, in that Thuram didn't have the bit that says "player will become unsettled if he is not allowed to speak to x club". Yours said "Thuram's preferred destination is x club" and in every situation that says " preferred destination" you can just reject it and they still don't become unsettled. It's when it says they will become unsettled that it works.

The whole corner “exploit” complaint always bewilders me. Like Stoke started the long throw and it was extremely difficult to stop. It’s like putting your best penalty taker on penalties, or free kick taker on FK, You went your best header/jumper of the ball to be the target for corners, it’s just good management.

The game doesn't react correctly though. In real life, if you were to target Peter Crouch with every corner, teams would catch on and mark him tighter. In FM, as long as you have a couple of different routines drawn up, i.e Crouch would stand in different areas of the box, the AI doesn't adapt to the fact you're always hitting to the target man.

I don't see a problem with a decent set piece tactic, thats what the game is for, right? I mean corners are part of the game and if you can score 30-40 goals from set pieces a season then hats off to you. Cracking work on the vid gaffer

The one for Fofana where you set asking price to 500k but his agreed was 82m. You can actually just go to the Transfer Status and under 'WHEN A TRANSFER OFFER IS RECEIVED' you can set that to 'Reject all offers'. That will save you from you manually rejecting but it will still stop the game a fair bit. I'd say, put a figure relatively close to his agreed one just to stop every club coming for him. Also on deadline day, whoa you might as well just go on holiday for that day because the offer will be constantly spammed every hour 😂😂

Was just typing my reply when you were going through the first comment, writing the method for the second comment lol and then here it comes in the video. Best way to add to the exploit is to add reject all offers automatically too and then you don't have to deal with it for the rest of the transfer window until they then become happy again and rinse and repeat.

Doing it by setting a high bid like with fofana creates a promise which will lock his morale lower until the promise period is over, so not as good as the academy player exchange

If you want an auto win starting in a league like England with a summer start, load Ireland or any league with a winter schedule and you can start the game as an English team in January 2022, which gives you an extra transfer window (with its own transfer budget) and like 6 months to buy / sell / scout players, get all your staff sorted, work on training / development whilst not having any matches for like 8 months except for friendlies you arrange. It also sorts any players who start a save with long term injuries.

My biggest takeaway from this is that you can drag and move the training blocks around on the schedule to rearrange them instead of clicking a gazillion times and I just... sigh... how am I only just learning this?!

Totally agree with you Luke regarding the recruitment focus etc features. I never use them they are useless in my opinion. I follow what you do for my recruitment and scouting and it works for me. Spot on that they should concentrate on enhancing the look of the game etc rather than tarty features that nobody uses after a first look. Well said mate and if you have any say or influence please continue to tell the makers.

@@OmegaLukeGaming I dont know how to download skins etc Luke so i always play the game as it comes and as you say its a bit bland after a short time. Not many player faces, no proper badges etc. They need to work on things like that to enhance the aesthetics of the game to the players. One thing i did like was the change to the transfer deadline day. At least you get a colour change and you know that its a serious part of the game if you know what i mean? but much more like that is needed.

Another good one is search for youngsters who have agents. Usually the good young players get agents straight away. To search for them you have to add the search 'agent contains' then add just one vowel in the search (a,e,i,o,u). I've found some right good youth from this search

What attributes do you search for certain positions tho, you've shown striker but what about other positions as I tend to put what I think are important on certain positions but I tend not to get any results

I have not played the 23 version yet, but in the search box, you can click one of the buttons and it lets you search by the attributes needed for that role and puts them into the search engine for you.. I dont mean just position, I mean if you choose a central defender it will fill, tackling, marking, heading etc etc already for you... its a great way to scout too,,,, ie if looking for say an inside forward you can select it, it populates all the needed attributes with 15 min and you just step each one down by one until you see the player that suits,,, this was for an older version but i doubt it has changed

Really recommend watching Zealand’s videos on training - this training calendar is a little sad to see, there should be no Rest slots at all: use the “rest” section of training to dictate who gets a rest, but any empty slots is a waste of training time

If I remember correctly it is only during pre-season that you should remove all rest slots. When the season starts you should have some rest slots or players will get injured.

@@karimmezghiche9921 Also handy to add a rest day or two if playing midweek games,,, ie your team just played Pool on Sunday and Wed you have real madrid, .. rest the players individually that played the last game can be the diff between condition being in the 80's or 90's

Agree with you 1000000% on the looks of the game !!!IT IS BAD!!! I spend days preparing my save, skins, faces, kits ..... practically an overhaul. I do a South African save on every FM and WOW WOW WOW its bland. FM23 seems to be alot more buggy I find. I've created a club (Muiz FC) in my current save, my character's fav club is Seville. Managing Muiz FC every time I check Seville's history in the lists it sais "Seville (now Muiz FC) in blue. At no point anywhere is there a link between the two clubs save for it being the manager's fav club.

Ive done pretty big deep dives into training and match review is indeed a good one. If I have 1 game a week I go recovery recovery review after the match. Never use rest slots is a better tip hehe. Look up Zeelands training video's he pretty much came to the same conclusions as me. (And I still suspect his researchers copied my pre season without acknowledging me)

The it's in the game so it isn't an exploit rant wasn't very convincing because all exploits that work are also in the game. I don't really care that you use it because the point of the game is to have fun, and as long as it doesn't kill your fun go for it. I think they need to fix the game and graphics engines. Recently they have been adding nice offensive moves in the graphics engine, but defense and goalkeeping has gotten steadily worse. Set pieces are terribly implemented as is international management. I don't really care much about graphics, except that they can't get the 3D engine to match 2D engine for where players are for offside rulings which makes 3D somewhat annoying to play.

It's a tick box option when you set up a save, but it's only available then - once you have started playing it can't be changed.

You're aware height doesn't matter in FM right? Jumping reach is the important stat here. A short person with 10 jumping reach has an equal reach as a tall person with 10 jumping reach. Of course height and jumping reach are often correlated.

"Masking off" is basically playing the game on god mode. Sure you would at some point end up finding the same talents but perhaps not during their first or second season where they are cheapest or before they attract too much attention from competitors, also bringing them to your club earlier speed up their development in most cases. Might as well insert 100 million through the in-game editor every season and i'd argue masking off being more valuable.

Attribute masking off makes finding wonderkids a non task, putting in Attribute filters is obviously going to work how's that a tip. That 7.00 filter is better as it helps people that don't play the game in easy mode

Dude, if you have attribute masking turned off, using attribute search is just straight up cheesing the game. Remove all chance and skill from transfers. I don’t recommend things like this for players, ruins that game.

That's bull shit clubs use stat programmes and analysis now that even fans can buy can sign a player before you scout them, they most likely still send a scout after they have gone over the analysis and stats to get a look and a feel what do you think Brighton are doing and there getting good results

rationale for why the corner tactics isn't an exploit isn't correct. All of it comes down to an issue with the game. I get what you are trying to say, in that this is just using something that is OP, but this is also an exploit. I guess it depends on the language used and what you consider as an 'exploit'
